resyncing with the server

Recommended Posts

I cannot do anything in the game because it constantly says resync with the server. How do I do that? I havn't been able to play because of that. Also it says that my frame rate is low... I have dsl and my computer has tons of RAm so what is up with that?

RAM is good. DSL is overkill. I think dial-up is four times the amount of transfer we need.

Might be processor, probably is video card. Type #glinfo in game, if you're not killed by white spam stuff (which is probably useful in some way important enough for them to make a command out of it), you need a new video card, or at least to update drivers and make it support OpenGL.

it won't even let me enter any commands... I cannot do anything because it just says over and over "resync with server"

Additionally try to temporarily set #poor_man = 1 in your el.ini file. This may give you the chance to at least do anything in the game, so that we can see where the problem is.

well my vidio card is one of the best ones NVIDIA GeForce4 MX

Lowest supported GPU is a Geforce 4 MX (worse than Geforce 3).

That should be enough. Update drivers, then try again. Make sure to get the OpenGL 1.7.5 acceleration.

To get the info, press Start, run, type in Dxdiag.
