I think glx goes with nvidia driver. Did you install it ?

I guess i use better distro ;).

You can try this to exit x window: (debian)

press ctrl + alt + F2 (or F3 to F7 till U get to login screen)

login as root:

login: root

password: (your root pass)

then execute from commandline: "/etc/init.d/kdm stop" (without quotes)

if U use xdm try typing xdm instead of kdm, you may be using gdm as well if U use gnome,

try it too. Good luck. :)

Please read the whole thread next time. We've already been through the KDM/init process of running to init 3.

Aero, dont worry about this, your've kinda already done it :)

 

 

Aero, are you sure that the nVidia drivers installed properly?
