But to the state of the *Vatican* belong too some other places in rome and italy if im right. (At least the Lateran). And yes, they know about EL. wasnt there once a guild named HOLY? It is really small and named after the Hill on which it is located (Rome is buildt on seven hills iirc) and no, no other parts of italy belong to the Vatican.
