Ulrih Report post Posted February 5, 2005 As there is this new rule #21, where ppl will be banned for trading from the same IP, it would be great to see what ip am i using while connecting to EL (i use proxy for web-browsing, and i'm not sure which ip is there while connecting with EL). With something like this i could ask anyone who wants to trade with me to check if his not connected from the same ip. It'd be even better to check somebodys ip, but I'm not sure if it is ok. There are some networks wich cover several buildings using just one IP, some ppl use proxies, so it is possible that someone connects from the same IP not knowing it. The screen would be full of numbers. At times it can be hard enough to read someones name, when people are standing close. We already have the ability to check someones IP, just not showing everyone at once.
