It works. You just have to set right code in your el.ini, for dutch it will be:

#language = nl

You have to create a dir in el/languages named nl, in that directory: strings and

Encyclopedia directories. I've just tested it using German Encyclopedia translation.

Hierachy as following:

platinum:/home/platyna/el/languages/de$ ls

Encyclopedia/ knowledge.lst rules.xml strings/

platinum:/home/platyna/el/languages/de$ cd ..

platinum:/home/platyna/el/languages$ ls

de/ en/

Regards.

There was an #ifdef preventing it from working on windows. It's fixed now on the CVS.

and how do i apply that? so i can finally get the languages working? im not a compiler i must add!

You'll need someone to compile it for you.

And you are lucky of not being a compiler, it's sooo boring

Yea, Entropy had me disable loading translatables in Windows, as he thought that was causing all sorts of problems. They were fixed by using iconv() instead of UTF8Toisolat1(), but we didn't remove the define, as the client hadn't been tested properly with loading languages.

Sorry for the reply in programmish. This one is in english:

It is not possible to use the translatables in the regular client. You will have to get someone to create a new windows client to continue your work.
