El Problem

Everytime I minimize EL on my computer it won't come back up...when i close it it says the program wasn't responding and asks to send an error report...I have a Compaq Presario SR1222NX with a graphics card i have no cle, it runs windows XP...

It looks to me that you might be a little low on RAM, since recommended RAM for windows XP is 512 MB.

Try to shut down other 'unnesscary' processes and programs, and hopefully you will have the memory needed.

I was running XP on 64 mb of RAM and it was pretty good. Anyway, ELC is powerhungry, so I suggest

shutting down all "cool stuff" like these super menu that slowly appears, transparency, windows

animations etc. It eats CPU and graphic card. Also AFAIK Compaq Pressario has build in crappy Intel

Cards, so I suggest turn off shadows, vertex array etc.
