    What would really be lovely would be disposable boots and helmet to match the current augmented leather torso and legs, and maybe make wooden/enhanced wooden shields manufacturable and also augmentable

    no way in Pros good everything is better is a litlle boring .... Why we dont have in Pros good something like negative ? Is very nice idea but..... duh... what if you check CONS good?

    I like the idea, but I don't agree with evil alignment being special for fighters and good alignment being special for workers. The good vs evil field is something that can be used to add a great improvement on gameplay and possibilities if it's correctly used, not for a classing system. That's my personal opinion, of course.

    I've seen this video before. What you don't know is that the hunter sprayed himself with "doe in heat" urine to attract the buck. The buck was not trying to hurt the hunter, he was trying to............. Got a point there... if the deer would want to hurt the hunter wouldn't it use its antlers?

    You said it yourself: it's hard for players who don't dedicate to a/d skills to hunt down any pkers. The +% attack bonus for evil players won't change things even a bit, if you do other skills think that fighters will be concentrating on a/d meanwhile... practically impossible to ever catch up. As for you intending to use branch on your enemies, if you combat level is low, so are your chances to hit, so will be the chances to break anything. On evil monster invasions... I saw good folks will be caught on them, not sure about neutrals.

    You neutral guys do not get advantages, but don't get disadvantages either. The game will stay as it is for you, so I wouldn't complain about it
  13. It's been a while since the update, and I'm still experiencing problems with music and sound in the game. Randomly, when changing maps or music zones, the music dies, and if there's a sound effect like rain, it can get stuck there (for example I go from whitestone raining to nordcarn not raining, and I still hear the rain). However, if I disable sound and music I get the "Error initializing sound: Invalid Operation" error, then if I enable both again they work, until they randomly die again. Ain't there anything that can be done? I know it's nothing determinant, but it's annoying as hell.

    Read the whole tread before posting plx? We have BRoDs already, people already uses them without being good nor evil (and will surely turn evil after this) and will keep using them... nothing will change.

    I fully do agree with Ferngale. If you want good vs evil to sepparate workers from fighters, why don't you just make jobs and vocations in the game? There should be something attractive on both alignments to any kind of player imo. Not all fighters are evil as well as not all workers are good.

    What came from me, was just not much well tought ideas that came out as alternatives. I think that rostogol stone and disengagement ring handicaps are obsolete. About crowns... why not leave CoL as they are and have evil players to use a different item for the same effect instead of the actual crown? Crown of Darkness or something? That would be an added difficulty (get another kind of item instead of the classical one) and will serve as an identity flag for evil players.

    Some visible changes for characters depending on alignment would be nice too... something like Knights of the Old Republic 2... if you go to the light side you look like teh typical good guy, while if you become a sith you turn dark skinned with scary looks and so. Make it something subtle like good folks being a bit paler than the rest or evil guys having red eyes or something like that I think that if you see someone you can get a first impression on if they're good or bad by the way they look, even if they end up being different in the end.

    My main concern with all this is about CoL. it has become a very important item when pking, I don't think many people would discard it so easily. Maybe make CoL +150 mat for evil people and +200/250 for good people? or less chance for them to degrade for good people, or they not degrading but breaking directly for evil people...

    After this update, more things could come. Like implementing monsters like demons and devils that will ignore evil ones and attack good people (dunno what about neutrals lol), and others like archangels or priests that will do the same on the opposite alignments. These monsters could also be used on the invasions and so... would turn this more into a halo vs horns war like it was said before.

    How about for evil people inventory drops, but equipped items and inv quickbar stays? so at least some of your essences/potions would drop and the pker gets something EDIT: I mean with rostogol stones

    That's way too much for a handicap, all you get like this is everyone going good. I think that BoD/BRoD for evil people and Staff of Protection/Mage for good people is enough. Besides, due to the looks of them, why not make steel plate only wearable for good folks and titanium plate for evil ones? (one looks bright, teh other looks ebul ) EDIT: Same, everyone will go good.
