I absolutely agree it should be repairable, whether by Tankel or some new NPC matters not, and I like the idea of graduated health boost as it degrades. The repairs would keep the money flowing out of circulation, while being repairable would stimulate sales, again moving the money out of circulation. I bought one right after they became available and used it solely to train att/def. I was able to level much, much faster at a lower cost of SRs and HEs than I could have dreamed of without the helm. Mine broke within a minute of logging back in after the last server crash, which I found very suspicious. I'm on my second one now, and the kids aren't going hungry yet, though I'm back in the mines again.

I had the same issue with spellbar. Solution: close EL, go to EL directory and delete the spell_<character name> file (something like that). You'll be starting with a clean spell slate when you log on again, and the file will regenerate when you add to the tool bar.

I voted "yes." As a player who made his living in-game as an alchemist, I viewed the cooldown with a great deal of trepidation. After having lived with it for the trial period, and considering future tweaking, I honestly believe the game will benefit from it. While it's true the PKers can't have the SR-chugging slugfests of days gone by, overall gameplay is improved, IMO. Also, I must admit I'm looking forward to the new toys....

As you may well have guessed, the alchemy business as we knew it is over. While I would like to continue doing this at an increased price to cover feasting potions, it is too mind-numbingly boring to sit and watch the countdown march ever so slowly to zero. It's like making nothing but LEs, but worse. Maybe once I get the hang of working in this new paradigm I'll try again, but for now I think Kenneth916 and I are done. That said, Doctor, you will get your order for the Death and Matter essences as soon as Kenneth916 and I are on at the same time, at the agreed upon rate. Everybody else, sorry, that's why we never confirmed the orders. Maybe we'll open again when the gold coin offered for alchemy increases beyond some motivating threshhold, or perhaps the test will run its course and we'll see you in a month, business as usual. Until that time, I guess I'll be out seeing the countryside a bit more. Herk

Jumped my bag when I hit a tele nexus. Didn't get much, but was very flippant when asked to return it. Not a new guy, so it was quite intentional...might be an alias for somebody. Our guild leader PMed him and determined he was pretty much an ass. Be careful if he's around...feel free to trade embargo or PK on sight!

I see the orders are backing up on the forum. We're not ignoring them, we've just been busy with real life commitments which occasionally come ahead of the game. With the cooldown coming up, people seem to be putting in large orders trying to stock up. We appreciate the desire to do this and if we're able to accommodate your requests, while balancing our own needs, we will be glad to help out.
