    pah, who want's a perfect EL with no action?? c'mon that's like separating the fat kid and a cake a game full of incredibly nice ppl would get plain boring and you all will turn over to the "unfriendly" side of things.

     

    besides, if this gets fixed somehow ppl will just find something else to whine about.

     

    What's wrong with all nice and cute and lovely and sweet and wonderful and friendly game?

     

    Wouldn't you love to have such a game (with a gfx like in the pic)?

    Sorry, i didn't bother to read the 4 pages before...

    Just wanted to say i hate those mini events...

    Just because they appeared too late... I more or less counted that if they existed since i started playing, I'd be 8 millions gc richer... It was a fast calculation that doesn't take care about most of the not-giving-exp harvesting that still triggers mini events so 8 millions is far from what it should be... (And i'm only lvl 101, 105 if mini events ?) :(

    Beside that, i don't mind them :)

    Aww, how come i had to find that thread by (un)luck ? :wub: Sorry, i only read a few posts as i just read the whole thread about ubber def greaves, didn't want go through all that kind of whining again...

     

    The most recent account of this is Lucky_Paladin from Guild Wing, who today decided to start serping Violater's (wWw member) spawn simply for being attacked in Kilaran Field.

    ...this is the kind of crap i am no longer going to even enter into discussions with people about, from now on they'll be asked once to stop via #ig, linked to this post, and if they don't stop i'll just add them and their guild to our shitlist.

    You couldn't ask to stop via #IG as your guild was #IG blocked since the day before. I'll admit you sent me a message via Gossip though.

    I wouldn't bother to go serp people spawns myself, still, i can't find any rule saying it's forbidden to do so. And don't serve me the usual "community rules" stuff. I have my own community which is called Wing and there, nothing forbids spawn serping. It's up to each individual to decide, not me and you even less :happy:

    Dont some guilds allow spawn serping of red tags ? (lame I know but it happens)

    Maybe. Wing has no red tags anyway.

    What he said. No allies, no enemies, only a few friendly tags. :o

    Now I have a q for all the "oldbies" in the game. Just when does someone stop being a newbie??? I've heard everything from "you'll always be a noob cuz you weren't here for the crash" to "when you hit oa 100 ask me again".

    To make it clear, most of those who were here for the crash are now n00bs relying on "old days" and having no skill... while 100 a/d is nothing...

    I'd say you're not a n00b anymore once you feel you're not one :(

    You mean you reached 100 a/d ? :P

    As for me, yes, I'm an Eternal n00b, but one with unique sexeh pink horns :)

    ok this doesn't even make sense, hopefully when u sober up u can explain to me how i "forget what PK actually is", and how the sentence "As it's all about pk, else summon level doesn't change anything" even makes sense.

    Actually a true sight potion can bring attack and defense levels as low as 0 . . .

    As far as I know people calculate their combat levels for their basic attributes/skills, not ones after drinking TS or other potions. Well, at least common sense would suggest it. So yeah, Itzi, make it possible to put 0s everywhere;) Somehow right, common sense is not longer common.

     

    ino what your saying but i do calculate CL with TSing sometimes to see whether a creature will ignore me with the actual CL i will have while on spawn.

    But even TS'ed, you're not at 0 attack or defense.... :)

     

    Sorry korrode, i'm too drunk to answer you... May be tomorrow... Still, your posts are too long and forget what PK actually is (As it's all about pk, else summon level doesn't change anything ;p)

    0.25 if summoning is 34 of less.

     

    0.75 if summoning is 35 - 44. (thats fluffys and m.chims... a few m.chims that are hitting 100% could shift the balance of power in a fight, especially if the best allowed armor/wep is iron plate/ti serp, as i dont think anyone will absorb all non-crit damage with iron plate).

     

    1.50 if summoning is 45 or higher. (yeti are rec lvl 45, even with full phys, decent vit and full steel armor not all non crit damage is absorbed iirc, and they crit heaps).

    No ? Come on, I try to calculate a player CL, not his summons CL...

    For summonning, we changed some stuff together with Vany...

     

    It was (Charm + Summoning / 2) * .75

    Now, it's :

    summoning * coefficient

    with coefficient being :

    .15 if summoning < 30

    .30 if summoning between 30 and 45 (45 excluded)

    .55 if summoning >= 45

     

    Anything to say about it ? :)

    There's an issue, like if you have 0 ranging, it wont give you your CL, so you might wanna fix that for people with Zero ranging, it gives the messages "Type your attributes (Everything MUST be filled)" without giving your CL, so shouldn't be too hard to fix, just make it where it adds 0t o your combat lvl instead of not giving you an answer
    You're totally right. Allowed 0 for ranging and summoning :D
