Hello there. I used to Play EL a lot but stopped playing about 6months ago and I can't log in. As far as I know I am using the right password (tried as many as I can remember) but to no avail. My chara still exsists as I can't create a new chara with his name. My friend also in teh same position has the same problem... Is there an inactive time that gets the password changed or can we just not remember the passwords. Thanks

Hello there... Right My name is LemonStar, You may of heard of me may have not, guild leader of IC, foxies guild. First of I would like to say that this thread has degraded into a flame war, rather than a notice of a bagjumper as it stated at the start. I have known fox for a long time and he has always been coutrious and respectful and it is IC policy to return deathbags whenever it is possiable. Usually posting on chan 1,3, 4 (yeah ppl get annoyed at off topic but you get the most people) and either waiting around or taking the bag and Pm'ing them if you know who it is. If I come across A random bag, then I advertise. If I see a death message then I pm them and tell them I have their bag and ask where they would like to meet. I know that foxy does the same. And as he says if he is busy (which isn't a great excuse I know) then he LEAVES the bag for the owner to find. Admitadly you could say this is aiding another bag jumper but I have had it many a time when my bag has been left alone ready for me to return to it. So enough of the flaming, let us carry on in peace.

Definatly agree on the IG bit. It is good thing to be able to block a member from doing GM's yet even at the lowest rank they can still IG other guilds. We had one guild member who caused no end of trouble with this. Trying to enter an alliance with another guild and he was upset and spammed the IG channel. IG should be set to at least rank 6 or above.

One of my guildmates saw a newbie trying to get an Ant to join his guild... Might be there for some time I think.

While not a new guild, we have been rather quiet since our formation. However the time has come to swell our ranks and -IC- are now recruting more memembers. Thank you so much for this! my comp is rather slow at loading and so closing and re-loading takes about a minute. So this is a great update for me! Also having it after a trade is good as is it then when you can lose big items/money. Thanks you!

Ok It seems that a new encyc has been released to most of the EL world. But my client refuses to pick it. I have tried re-logging the client and nothing happens. Have been running 20min since updated was posted (according to learners post) and still nothing... Any ideas why? or is there somewhere i can download the files manully? Thanks in advance LemonStar

Ok looking at this guys stats : STATS This is either a new player or an alternate.. He comes onto chan 6 and announces a contest. First prize 100k (where is he gonna get 100k from!) second prize 20k, for the first person to find him and bring him 5 each of 10 diffrent furs (difficult as there only 7 on C1 and this was on a peace day) So I go off and scrounge the stuff and go after him... By the time I have the stuff he has actually announced his postion, but still wants ppl to bring him the furs... Ok, the plot thickens. I grab the stuff and go over to meet him. I trade him.. show him the furs... But no money.. I ask what is going on and he says that the 'prize' will be given to me when we get to a secret place... Yeah right... He tries to trade with me a few times, and i show him the furs, but wont accept till i see the money. So then he says ok we go to this secret place, after much persuession from me. So we go off (luckily i knew the place as well as he ran off and didn't wait) We get there, he asks for the trade again... still no money... So he says, give me the furs or i will quit... I say no, and he logs off. Well that was a fun waste of time wasn't it! Somehow I doubt much more will come of this, as it is either a noob out to scam, or an alt who we may never know the real owner of. Either way I feel I should tell people about it.

I think it is a great idea. I was wondering through KF one day (just wanted to see how long i could last 1.30min btw) and all i saw was a dwarf run up and me and splat i was dead. Would be nice to see who did, just so I could say to my mates!

I think it is a great idea really. I am alchamist by trade, so I do spend long hours sitting there turning k's of ore into bars. Having random events would make this a bit more intresting, and less of a thing you could do while half watching TV. More neg events, and a slighty higher chance of enriched (we dont want to much or the economy will drop even more) or maybe even another bonus. How about have it so that you can have a postive event that means you make two of the item from one set of the ingrediant. Would be good as you could then do it for bars as well. Can't really think of a way to 'enrich' a bar at the moment so a double production seems as good an idea as any.

Just a note that even after the updates Mira still has 2 minor heal pots to chose from. Shame both still cost 6gc

Ohh good one Foxy. Having it set to one item of one type would make sense, be great if you find a nice monster drop or a rogstol/serp stone from mining.

Ohh vials full of acid to throw at people! cool. If we can get these, can we please having something That I have wanted for a long time! Exploding Fire Essences! just throw one and watch it go boom! (anyone who has seen me in RP mode know how often i try and do this). Might raise the low price of FE back up again!
