I have not played long enough to have had the plesure. But please do your own research before agreeing to the doctors diagnosis and procedure. My mother was giving a diagnosis of one year of life, four years ago. Yes, four years ago. She had pulminary fibrosis a hardening of the lungs. And no way to address it and it would never heal and just get worse and her breathing would just get more and more constrained. Her friends decided to do research and we found a site dedicated to it and it perscribe certain mix of minerals. My mother decided she had nothing to lose. Althrough divorced my father said he would pay for it. Well she is still here today. And last year I discovered MMS. I convinced her to try it as she was still suffering from lack of oxygen and energy. It gave her new life, she is now able to go out daily. Though she is far from perfect health she does have a life now instead of being practically bed ridden. SO PLEASE DUE SOME OF YOUR OWN RESEARCH ON IT. THERE IS PLENTY ON THE INTERNET... New York, it is the one state that can use Ozone therapy.. worth looking into.. May the creator give you the strength and wisdom to prevail.

for those who use the bloodsucker maps... after playing for almost a year, I got tired of the portland map extended dock.. So I fixed the dds file.. works fine... extracts portland map folder.. in it u will find the fixed map and a backup of the original... just copy the fixed to ur map folder.. http://www.fileswap....and_map.7z.html enjoy... I have three dual boot mahines, windows and linux. Two laptops and desktop. I want to know which files to transfer to keep character up to date on each OS. I have already realized that the main folder back up differs from windows and linux. Got errors.... I really needed to keep my quests up to date on each OS... I did not know what is kept on server. thanks, Deck

Easy there bluap.... I was just saying that u can run a windows execute a bit easier than linx.. for every linux distro the creation of the laucnher is different but not really difficult. As I am not a programmer though understand the basics, I have compiled on linux.. As u have read all of my machine are dual boot.. I use linux 85% of the time. but because of their monopoly only on consumer market a few situations make windows a must.. I just started to get the hang of VMware.. but then again u are still booting windows.. For the record " I hate Microsoft, Intel, and Nvidia" and my rant which was probably placed in the wrong place due to my inexperience on the forums went unnoticed... http://www.eternal-lands.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=40879 IMHO most linux distros have fallen into the trap when in comes to Nvidia drivers, as the rant states above, "OH got to have the newest drivers" wrong.... well nvidia and possibly intel broke the drivers on old video chipsets on both windows and linux .. 2 years ago... thumbs up to UBUNTU, for sticking with the Nouveau drivers which allow me to boot and install... the truth is I use Kubuntu...which is a better working of the original IMHO, plus I am a KDE guy.. like the control.. now if they included the nouveau-firmware upon installion it would be perfect... I did test it... no problem moving item_list.txt and item_categories.txt from linux to windows. The problem comes from windows to linx... why is it only those files.. the rest as far as I can tell are transferable. the quest log was my big concern... that would be a major problem for me jumping from OS to OS quite a bit.. I just do not tranfer those two files and the el.cfg, el. ini as a work around to switch to a different machine and OS. It would also be efficient if the el.cfg and the el.ini could be placed in the Eternal Lands and .elc folder rather than in the main folder.Then u can move just the main folder to switch to different computers.. Eru, I not familiar with the format so I just have not transfer the files. Hey, about this panatella... a portable version for usb that saves to itself. I have to try it in windows. EL only about 330 mb with Music, sound, and bloodsucker maps.. In windows u just have to execute.. Linux is a pain, u need to set up a Launcher.. thanks bluap, eru, and panat.... hopefully someone will hear our cry....

I can open storage then when I hit store all, the message "error reading item list" but i could continue to use storage. It would happen only with the first action I took. I would delete the item_lists.txt and item_categories.txt to let EL rebuild it and the problem would end. I will try to reproduce it to give u the exact actions taken to create the error. Right now I do not copy the files above or the cfg or ini file and have no problems. My biggest concern is the quest log anyway. That not exactly what I was referring to. I sometimes play running linux and sometimes windows, depending on what I am doing that day. But when I copy the main folder from linux to windows I get an error whole playing. While in storage I get an error message- reading item list... I guess I will skip the item_lists.txt and item_categories.txt as I already skip the cfg and ini files as the machines configurations are different. I jump from machine to machine using an usb flash to update the important saves for games, bookmarks, etc.. so each machine stays updated as to my needs. My biggest concern was the quest logs so when I switch machine or OS I do not lose what quests have been completed and at what stage in the tutorials I have completed. I thought there might be a direct answer as to which files are not transferable between the linux and windows version as there appears to be some incompatibility. And what is kept on server that can be updated upon logging in. I will test different transfers and see what works.. thanks for replying hussam, Deck

Nvidia sucks and always have.... They have been known for years for breaking their drivers with updates. Causing games playable to become unplayable. I am an old gamer, always stuck with AMD-ATI for game compatabilty... play many old games regularly.. back to the mid nineties... Here it is....... inherited an HDX9494nr.. Intel core duo 2.1GHZ, nvidia 8800m gts 512mb ddr3, 20" inch lcd... performance laptop.. Vista x64 great laptop but.... Over the last year been have random crashes. Sometimes an hour to three hours.. Sometimes playing EL, other games or just youtubing and afk harvesting. Thought is was adobe flash while afk. And the last nvidia update 301.42.... bam.. 3 to 15 min crash.. still thought might the flash because I play in window mode with the wiki and bot services page open all the time afk and surf.... Never a problem on my amd quad with amd/ati card.... but I use the HDX as my Main machine now... moved it around alot being a laptop... Well after a 2 week reverting back to previous drivers, still getting the occasional ramdom crashes, deciding to test upgrade win7, but still the same problem. Still thought it had to do with firefox and adobe....as well as some games...HOLD IT..... Came across a forum dedicated to the HDX series HP performance laptops... guess what after elaborate testing the problem was that nvidia broke the driver for this and other series cards since version 257.21..... 2 f___ing years ago.... went back 257.21... guess what....test: had the machine on constantly for two days.... played EL and other games, windowed, surfed, email, youtubed, afk harvesting.... <<<<<DID NOT CRASH ONCE>>>>> Hold on... ain't done yet.... Next restored my legal version of Vista x64... nvidia 257.21 verde.... And guess what... same result.... NO Crashes.... will likely work with dedicated cards having problems also.... BUT WAIT.... Went back to the forum, read through and discovered the great geeks who figured this out being good open source computer professionals notified Nvidia engineers.... and u guessed it they did nothing.... but continued to issue the drivers with the broken code. WHY....... I am in my fifties, an old fart, so let me tell u about big corps.... I do not blame the engineers and the programmers who in generally want to create the best product. The CEO's do not give a crap about the consumer and they need u to buy more... IMHO the driver was broken on purpose to get all to buy new cards... It is just good business... In their opinion... The problem is the hidden powermizer setting Nvidia incorporates in the driver.... For u Linux users.... guess what... they broke those drivers too.... I was a PCLinuxOS guy.... love the full monty version... had it over a year. played EL, Doom3, Quake4, Wolfenstein all native.. but about a year ago had to stop upgrading the Nvidia driver.. it would crash system.. unfortunately a hard drive failure with no backup this year time screwed me.... Most LiveCD will not boot because of the nvidia driver.. Hate Ubuntu... KDE guy... went with Kubuntu because they boot with the nouveau drivers. Uninstalled nvidia drivers completely. Got EL to run... though not optimised... but runs... disabled cloud shadows, fog, reflections... 38 to 45 fps. So for over a year I suffered because of their greed......nvidia with windows and linux.... bullocks..... AND THERE ENDS MY RANT.... but I continue... Just for a side not I noticed lots of problem with firefox and flash.... some mentioned the driver, it is the nvidia driver not the flash... ATI, now AMD/ATI, never broke the backwards compatability rule... I had trouble with their installation at times but never broke old drivers or games... Never a problem with firefox and flash youtube either. So for u nvidia heads caught up with their advertizing well there u have it.... <<<<HOLD ON>>>> Now went back to the forum, and the great geeks found a mod for the nvidia broken driver..... yep..... whoa.... changes the powermiser settings... u geeks and hackers are the best.... NOW Running HDX9494nr... Nvidia 301.42 Verde notebook drivers Release 5-23-2012.... Vista x64.... runs like a dream..... no crashes for a week so far..... not from games or flash player while surfing.... I am reborn..... no more problems on windows at least..... no more crashes... it feels soooo good! Anybody having any random crashes with nvidia decated cards or chipsets and want to use the lastest drivers...... send me a message.... I send u what u need....

the only thing I notice is tool breakages are up.... lost about double the average... does not appeared to do with the astro either... has remained consistent for several days..

Sonic, I have found under the Troubleshoot section in settings you must enable "New Selection". It is not enabled by default I am not sure why... Good Luck.... D
