As far as I know unFREEz is a small simple program that has unlimited number of slides, though I haven't tested that part.

XXX should have looked both ways before crossing the street. XXX shouldn't have pressed the red button... XXX has learned the importance of not mixing energy essences with water. XXX had a viability malfunction. XXX now gets to learn what Custer said at his final stand. XXX shouldn't have called Mortos'(s's?) bluff. XXX has finally realized that wasn't such a good idea. XXX's final words: "What's the worst that could happen?" XXX should have read the fine print. This is too much fun Will edit if/when I think of others

... Some people have far too much time on their hands. I wonder how many books he's actually sold with this sort of BS in it

Congratulations to both of you, she's adorable! Best of luck and do try to get some sleep too

Favorite: Morcraven Marsh, though Tarsengaard is a very close second. Least favorite: I'd have to say Desert Pines, but only because everything's so far apart

Congratulations! Hope everything goes well

What in the world is house music? I must be missing something Big fan of classic rock, classical, somewhat alternative, a bit of techno. Not a big fan of country and rap (mainly because of the lyrics and the fact that I can never understand what they're saying anyway), but I will tolerate it if need be. Anything with a beat is good

Did I mention that I only have $1.55 to my name in change at the moment? ;; Plus my parents would not approve, particularly since otherwise my computer works perfectly fine. In fact, they despise the game because I got my brother addicted and he tried to use my parents' credit card to buy stuff from the store -without permission. But yeah. Do what you want with my prize
-
I got second place in "most dramatic," but unfortunately I can't play EL anymore because of my graphics card. Can I get that instead? XD Only kidding. You can go ahead and keep the prize, or donate it to the ants, or whatnot

History, in case you couldn't guess it from my posts

Are you asking why we're addicted? I can't even play the game anymore since the last major update (curse thee, 3d graphics and my crappy video card! ), and yet here I am, still stalking the forums like a maniac. So why do I do it? The community. I enjoy listening to what everyone has to say. It's quite a learning experience, especially with all these debates about the game economy. I find it fascinating how much it reflects real life. This semester, I had taken a course called Social Economics, and we discussed the same perspectives that people seem to come from. Some think that the economy isn't broken, that it will self-correct, and that any tampering would result in even worse situations. In economic terms, these are conservatives. Some think that the economy needs tweaking, that the administrators can present a solution that would fix the current problem. Sure, it might have other consequences, but these people have faith in the power of tweaking. If left to itself, the economy would destroy itself, hence the necessity of tweaking. In economic terms, these are liberals. Then there are some who think that we need an entirely new economic system. The economy was broken from the very beginning (huge inflation before the "big crash," anyone?), and only in dictating minimum and maximum prices through NPCs, making sure everyone has an equal chance in making money, and balancing out the skills from the top to the bottom, can the economy truly "work." In economic terms, these are radicals. Isn't it amazing how much EL reflects real life? Everyday I continue to find new parallels or perspectives I had not seen before. This is why I'm still here. It's not just a study of the game, it's a study of life on a virtual scale Note: Sorry for hijacking this thread, somewhat. I tried to keep on-topic as much as I could while still trying to get what I wanted to say across.

Personally, I think that people take you (meaning general you, not you specifically) more seriously because you take the time to carefully think out and type your post. For some types of forums, it is perfectly acceptable to use chatspeak, because it is not so serious a forum. Chatspeak is generally connected to chatrooms, 1337 n00bs, and preteens. For other types of forums however, just as you would not use chatspeak to type out an essay or a resume, you would need to get your point across as clearly as possible without the use of chatspeak. The suggestions forum is a good place to type out your ideas clearly, as you may be easily misunderstood or even ignored altogether if you use chatspeak. As for not resisting the proliferation of chatspeak, I hear horror stories of chatspeak being used in school assignments and business reports. It is truly unfortunate. How would Shakespeare have made a sonnet with such phrases as "brb" and "g2g"? Actually, I want to try that now...
