Beorn, FYI: "let's give it a shot beorn" while stiinig in arena with weapon armed does not mean I want a friendly fight. I would certainly have specified friendly fight if that's what I meant. You were sitting at the arena in full armor and weapon.. even a Mirror cloak if I remember correctly. Are you really saying that you were there to PVP?? No, you were there to kill whomever you had the chance to kill.. So I say.. "let's give it a shot beorn".. not a PVP invitation at all. Secondly, I did not ask the others to jump in. They did that on their own. Liquid was fists on the bag.. but from the look of the log.. he was surprised at my challenge to you too.. seems everyone there understood it was a challange.. not a friendly fight.. (accept you). For that I apologize.. and I had planned on returning what you lost today because I understand how you may have mis-understood. I even told you when I logged off (as I do EVERY DAY at 5pm my time) that I would be back tomorrow and to pm me if you still had concerns. Instead you take it to outlaws. It was a mis-understanding on your part. Dono why you assumed friendly.. but you did.. so I will still return your gear as I am honorable and friendly.. ALWAYS! Tho as I stated.. I got only an iron helm and a steel shield. PS- Liquid.. my sword was out the entire time..

The updated IRON guildmap is in the client update and does not appear to be on the server. There are areas which I can not walk on because the old map did not allow it. Also, there is a newer DEF file on the test server than the production server. Will there be an update of these files on the server as part of the client update?

Many of us have servers Some of us even have servers that have more than 20% uptime (well that counts me out with all my recent system crashes).. Maybe I better make a 386 linux box :/ I guess I should have added that my bot is also poised to do this as I currenlty consume that list and could output it easily. But hey, if somebody else wants to do it.. please do, it's one less thing for me to be responsible for in game.

I like the idea of more up to date information. I think maybe the best idea is to have someone request permission to check the page every 30 seconds. Then on a server of their own, create an easily consumable page with the info. People could then connect to that page as often as they need to get the list of online players. I have a server which I would be happy to provide this service through. Should I ask Entropy if this would be acceptable?

I am sure everyone knows that IRON has long been kown for it's honor and integrity. We pride our selves on being kind and helping others. We will always continue to be this type of guild. We are extremley well rounded in the skills department having MANY of our players in the top 100 and several in the top 10! Now that we have a firm foundation, we are ready to take on the pking realm. As such, we have designed and tested a guild map which will provide saftey in training. This guild map will be available as of the game update. We have several members who have a/d in the 50-70's and are committed to training to be the best. That would make training TOO easy. It's kinda like the hourly limit you have on harvesting now.. without that limit.. it's just too easy. Also, many guilds have spent LOTS of time implementing features in their bots to bypass this issue. I would hate to see that edge disappear (not to contradict what I said above )

I totally agree.. thanks are due! This was the most anticipated update to date for me. I really appreciate all the work on the new items, spells, beasts, and everything! Not to mention the new maps and the new Client features like the exp tracking. Thanks to ALL of you who donate your time so generously to this community. Your efforts are truely appreciated! I like this idea.. and it goes along with what I was wanting to suguest. Maybe the #list_guild command could list like a grid sorted on player name and include rank, the date the player joined the guild and the date of their last login. Player name........Rank......Join Date......Last Login ----------------------------------------------------------- This leads to the next issue. It would be REALLY helpful to be able to remove / change rank on players who are not online. Especially remove. The issue of guilds saying there are 40 members but only 12 of them are active is quite prevelant. Not to mention someone doing something worthy of being kicked from the guild.. then they are never online when a leader who can kick them is. Would it be possable to get better guild support in the future?

Sorry to post back to back.. but it has been a few hours Here are my latest findings (map bugs?): Arius 22,186: the ramp to the docs is not walkable like the others. Zirakinbar 311,76: There is a map sign on the boat for Aeth Aeflan, but it does not work. Aeth Aeflan 210,30 and 343,256: gaps between the banks and the ground tiles. 281,243 the door to the building is embedded in the building and partially obstructed. 352,229 seems to be a misplaced sedicolis sign? Wyrmgoth Underground 27,48: can not normal click the door to exit, have to "use" the door. NPC Cantemir - Says he sells ring books for teleporting to Irilion, but he actually sells something different (intentionally left out location and what he sells).

Well, I have been testing for the past 2 hours.. and so far found only a small map bug. Irilion Portals room. There is a grass ground tile visible in the middle of the blue void area NE of 45,172. I have my perspective set to 0.45 Other than that, MAN this update looks great! No stability problems or anything! Great job team!

Why not just put on the Crown of mana while wearing the cloak for Conjuring?

Hey, I think he is great. I mean, this econemy is built on the idea that you have to make LOTS of the same items in order to progress your skill, this means that we must also take LOTS of those items out of the game. If more come in then go out.. nobody will be abel to manu and sell a thing. I think tankel is teh boooomb! (Im a manuer ;P and I never use him)

So.. it sounds like this will affect bots as well? has the position of the actor ID changed? If so, could you detail the new message structure? Thanks

Hi all, I think I have a new idea (not yet posted afaik). I would love to see a visual representation of any bufs that I have. For example, when I drink a coord pot, there should be some display on the screen showing that I am buffed by 5 coord, then 4, then 3, etc. This would be extremley helpful as it's a real pain to open the stats window when I am fighting to monitor my bufs. Maybe this could just be added in the same area as say the Shield Spell buf display??

yeah, but either you leave it up all the time (which does not look right no matter where I put the window) or you have to remember to check it. Hey, I just thought it was an obvious thing that would make the UI nicer. Seems like the devs don't much like the idea. Is it because it would be dificult to implement?

In thinking more about this, I realize that just about every MMO I have played has had visial representation of timed stat increase / decrease. EL is no exception, you have one for poision, one for shield, all the users skills can be displayed on the side bar (and they dont even change that often at higher levles). It seems to me that having the status of something that enhances your performance clearly visible is really desirable. Just for curiosity, I have created a poll.. What's everyone think about this idea?
