Post here player names who are scammers, no flames. Just playername and scam techinque. People who will post false information here will be on that list themselves. EDIT: What to do with scammers? Just type #ignore [playername from black list] How to avoid being scammed? Simple: - Look in stats of player who never earlier was advertizing on market channel and now suddenly sells 5k FE or 500 MR... - If you bag trade first jump on bag then pay cash. Unless you know well this person or you traded with him/her before if someone instead of accepting that deal is telling your stories... everything is clear. Regards.

Lame server reboot/crash = forum error. Actually it was reboot, how do I know? Simply first are all processes like mysqld killed and then when network interfaces are taken down you get "connection refused" when trying to connect, eg. reload the page. That server is rebooted almost every two days, but when you are trying to constact their staff you get email autoreply. Lame. ;-> Regards.

Actually not, if I would get a server code, I would surely take my folks from work to code it (we all played EL on old server and loved it). :-) Setup a host for that. But it is weird that Entropy don't want to open source even old code of the server. Regards.

Good point! Almost as silly as when people say they'll leave and they dont, eh?!! I was a forum admin and I was doing my job well. Leeloo was forum admin and was doing her job well to. But we got kicked out...tell me Entropy: How come? Regards.

Primo: There will be no forum. Secundo:And who wouldn't want to be a forum moderator? And the main issue is that now forum/game moderators are people who mainly has no time or no will to do the work they volunteered to. And Roja and Entropy are unable to choose the right people not because they are idiots or something, but because, SIMPLY, they are not playing this game, not knows their own people and most relations between them. All people they can trust are developers, but if they will give such time hungry work like being the tech support and community developers/helpers/moderators to them they will have no time to work for the project so that way admins are doing only more harm to their project especially that the more skilled artist or programmer the less social skills he has and I know it not only from this game but as well IRL - such people should be left alone so they could express their abilities by staying in the technical development not being dragged out thing they love to, mainly boring moderation - yes, boring, it is not fascinating work explaining same things, answering same questions, cutting same flames all over again. But some people does that and enjoys it because they feel useful and needed, they feel they can contribute to the community, and some pretends that they are doing it because they are simply power hungry. By destroying the forums Entropy and Roja will cut themselves absolutely from the community, there will be no field for "head hunting" for development team and community itself will die completly. And when the community will die, this project, as developed by the community, will die too. Regards.

Anyway, back on topic: I think that forum were the last gathering of the EL community. Alot of people who has left the game were on forums talking with each other, of course few kiddies destroyed it, there are no Learner or Cicero to take care about the forum. And that what I have stated above I could prove on living example to not be accused that I am only a smart ass. This forum needs simply an admin to back to some decent intellectual level. Regards.
