Hiya! I was thinking: lets clean up this mac after a looooong time of good use. So i reinstalled it and put the counter, notes and quest files back in my libary. Few days before i started the first Novac quest. Now it seems its lost, sinds i can now only start the 2nd Novac quest and it doesnt tell me anything about the first anymore... Is there a way i can continu the first Novac quest? I was only on the point of killing the grizzly and would hate to mis the rest of the quest... Grt. Not really a bug in the client but stil: The shortcut key ctrl, to use stuff fast, doesnt work here. Its the key OSX Leopard asigns to spaces. So if i press "ctrl-2" it flips to second virtual screen, leaving el on the first. is there a way to reasign EL-shortcut keys? Grt. SL3ViN

Got a 3th gen MacBook, running OSX 10.5.2. (2.2GHz intel core 2 Duo, 1GB ram, 144mb intel Vram) Works but before logging in for first time i needed to set: #use_shadow_mapping= 0 #water_shader_quality= 0 and add: #use_animation_program= 0 and delete all .vert files Not here. works fine on my machine. using the trackpad and not a external mouse. This is going to be a tricky one. First, delete your el.ini file. Second, delete your spells_sl3vin.dat file. Both will be found in ~/Library/Application\ Support/Eternal\ Lands/main. Then, try running EL again. I used to see this freeze problem with shadow_mapping, so make sure that is turned off. If you are brave, after a while, turn it back on while in EL daylight, and see what happens. Intel graphics chips have been known to have problems, and I am hoping that this is not the issue. it still doesnt work. the moment i log-in my mb freezes completly. (even after osx and el reinstall). My mb is a 3gen (november 2007) wich has a new type intell graphics chip

I just got the c version of the game, started ok but didnt last long. I got a 3gen MacBook (latest model), 2,2 ghz 1gig ram, and running Leopard. my complete mac froze wile harvesting. after i reboot, it happens as soon as i try to log-on.

The core of windows vista issnt new. Its based on Windows server 2003 and is fully compatible whit most games. Im running Vista Ultimate 64bit. The most unsupported version of vista. I got it running to. U need to go to el.exe, right click it, go to compatibility tab, under settings mark the last 3 options. After that you need to disable dreamscene (moving backgrounds). Now it schould work nearly perfect.
