some lazy fuck wouldnt get money from the state, they examine a individual first, see if he's capable of getting a job, if he can, no free money if not (due to some illness or handicap) they'll give him/her money like in England there was a guy who pretended he had something with his legs and couldnt work and got money from the government, so one day he pops up in idols or popstar dancing around.. he had to pay all the money back and imo its a good thing that those with more money get "punished" more, they still end up with way more then the rest while helping the nation more maybe the US wouldnt be in an economic crisis if everyone would stop being selfish economy can only exist if there is money flowing around, whats the purpose of an economy if everyone keeps their money to themself? what Obama did is a good thing, lets say you bought your shotgun from the $400 bucks, that money would go to the shop who sold it, who can use it to pay taxes and pay their employees (keeping them from being fired) and used to buy more shotguns from the factory, which also use it to pay taxes and employees he did it to jumpstart the economy, instead of sitting around waiting till everyones misery is over face it, the economy is based on money going around, if theres money flowing around slowly you will get a recession, thats why EL's economy never been good if there is alot of gc in game its divided poorly, cause in the end the Gc is worth so much cause they arent able to make it they start paying $ for it, and that cuts into your shop sales

true afaik Holland has one of the best economies in the world, thats why we are allowed in the G20 (unofficially) and they come to us for economic info so what if you are forced to pay for healthcare? saves you alot of trouble if you arent insured and something happens to you

i suggest higher leveled people should be able to visit the lower level instances too just to have more to do then farm yeti and farm the pr0 instance now the Con of this idea is that some high lvls might go to a lower lvl instance 24/7 to make loads of gc but.. im sure Radu can implement something like an instance cooldown, like there is now but you wont be able to remove it lets say u can do instances max 3-5 times in a row and then theres a cooldown of ~2 hours they have this in WoW too, dont shoot it down just cause they have it there too but the idea behind it is that higher levels can keep enjoying places they've been too, instead of just grinding 24/7 to get lvls, more gold and items it would still be far more profitable to go to the instance of your own lvls

so i got this problem with Vista where it shuts down and reboots cause i havent installed a windows update, it keeps doing this at random times now the problem is, i did the update, it updated to service pack 1.. and then i got no sound, even when i updated drivers to the latest ones available now i dont want to buy a completely different soundcard just cause windows blows, so i decided to restore my system to before the update (which had a couple of problems at first) and now im back getting these reboots. anyone knows a good way of fixing either one of those problems?

their product comes w/ the thing i buy :< btw i had to format my harddrive and reinstall, after the second time i tried to update to SP1 with the driver you linked it gave an error saying something like 0xc0001/deriveddata each time it boots system restore got stuck on the finalizing file recovery part.. so i just took my losses and reinstalled everything

downloaded those drivers and reattempted to update to service pack 1 now it gives a black screen when rebooting saying 0xc01a001d with some other flickering text its a common problem, millions of people had this issue and it hasnt been fixed for over 2 year.... now i figured out my only 2 options are to A: use system recovery from the vista CD B: reinstall everything trying to do the recovery process now but it seems to be in a loop, it just says its finishing up file recovery for a while now.. why the fk is a billion dollar company doing a half assed job and still earn billions? need to get an ubuntu cd :<

tbh i got no clue what kind of soundcard it is, its a built-in one on the motherboard its a NFORCE500-SLI-M2N-ESLI-00 motherboard, and with using device manager i looked for newer drivers on the web, but it said the latest ones were already installed i tried disabling the soundcard and then enable it, didnt work.. uninstalled drivers and reboot the computer to make it auto-install drivers, that didnt work either oh and at device manager the sound device had like a warning sign next to it, with a code 10 which led me to a microsoft website to scan your computer for errors and fix them, specially for vista.. but as you can guess that didnt fix anything either

getting resyncs all day for no apparant reason on my side so far Boedha, me and Amar are having problems with it, anyone know what the problem could be and/or how to fix it?

lol'd, who was the joker? not trolling here, just trying to give constructive criticism i agree with Korrode though, take for example other games, those have trolls too, most likely more then EL and worse but those games do have a large playerbase, why? because they require you to pay attention to the game, and move around alot with lots of things to do and im not talking about clicking an ore looking at your screen waiting for a mini event, they have things Entropy suggested before, depletable resources they are in random locations and once your done with one you go to the next, but mining there takes like 5 seconds, gets you a couple of ores and then you move on to the next this could be done in EL too, together with fewer ingreds needed for items but then everyone complains "omg then i wont have much ore anymore or flowers" while all they have to do is move around to get the same amount of ore they usually get this could be applied to monster spawns too, as it is now they pick a spot, and have it spawn within a circle on that spot, while they could make the respawn place around where it dies, that way you dont have to look at that same rock every time you kill that cyclops, but keeps you moving throughout the map enjoying different sceneries and ill save the ranting about economy and things like "lol give me a brick for a good day" those can be a real turn-off too (tbh i got a few pm's saying "thanks for not donating rosto's for that day, its rediculous" and that it was a "gross display", from well respected players of the EL community) advertising is good though, but imho the game is leaning too much on its playerbase, if a troll can have that much impact on a game to keep loads of players away theres something wrong a game should provide enough fun, and easy to understand/read tutorials that people can learn on their own, ignore the trolls and keep having fun, without needing half of the community helping out keeping newbies in game

This is very true. There are new players entering the game every day, but most don't stay. Older players, at least on the channels we're active on now, aren't very friendly to newbies anymore. The help channels, sure, but if they get on 4, no one is there except for a few die-hard players recruiting for their guilds. If a newbie happens to find the market channel and posts a newbie ad like "Selling 207 fire essence 10 gold each" they get a number of "lol" "wtf" and "" replies. And god help them if they stumble onto channel 6. I know this isn't always the case, but I really think if we are more tolerant of "newbie behavior," it would go a long way to growing the playerbase. since when is it up to a community to entertain a player instead of the game itself? Oo Wow, read much? If a player doesn't find the gameplay and the anticipation of earning xp/gc/items over time entertaining, it's a given they won't last long. That's not what I said. dont say anything about my reading when yours fails, take a look at the bolded parts basicly your whole post came down to the community needing to be more tolerant towards newbies, as reply to wizzy's post about helping them the last bolded part says it would go a long way if we (the community) help out newbies, or be more tolerant towards them.. its not up to players to attract new people, show them around, or keep them playing.. thats up to the game jsut saying that newbies should be able to find their way around more easy, up to the game to make them familiar with things. and if channel 4 or 6 got nothing better to do then bashing newbies then thats a sad thing, get more things to do in game that require more from a player then push a mouse button with one hand and wank with the other while watching a bit of TV in the end more interesting things to do that require attention would boost playerbase, keep newbies playing, and keep oldbies from bashing newbies and with things that require attention i dont mean something like mini events making you stare at the screen all the time without doing much another edit: and if the game creator is lol'ing at everyone who loses a rosto, and demanding rosto's all the time thats not very good thing to increase player base either

showing up with a bunch of phoenix would be like summoning AC, everyone just dis/tele or run before you can attack while they ran you are wasting CF till they come back or as far as i've seen now - 2 bronze hits and a phoenixs is dead, so the AoE wouldnt last long

actually, up to MC with summon ^^ but to really have the oldschool pk back you would need to remove attribute caps too no new medallions (MoL for example) and those mana burn rings
