Actually, I have had this problem myself now that I've switched from XP SP1 to SP2. However, it's very rare that this message pops up for me. Maybe... once every few days. I'm forced to stop playing and re-open EL (the error closes it out, it's the same message). It does the exact same thing on my laptop, which also runs SP2. It never did it before on SP1a. ^_^; Anyways, I was just doing to share that since this error is neither related to my graphics card or my client for me =S

Because I was trying to ignore the insanity? ^_^; Besides, I don't think I'd fit in with the shiny armor. =S

I can't wait for the PS3, myself. One reason explains my sole choice for always sticking with the PS: Final Fantasy =3 Although I think they're gonna start doing XBOX versions, the PS versions will likely always be better (like their crappy FF8 computer game. Didn't look so great). So.. yeah ^_^ I love RPGs, can't wait for the new PS3. My parents will likely be buying it for me, so I might save up enough money on my own to get Revolution or the new XBOX. =D

That'd be a lot of fun, although I guess pretty useless except for people like me who can't click straight. =S

I'm not currently playing two characters, but the main rule everyone here is interested in seems to be playing from the same IP and the restrictions regarding that. I'd like some clarification on that myself, because I'd like to have another character in the future =D I personally don't support making the rules extremely strict. If someone is going to go to all the trouble of re-reading rules and finding an excuse to get out of them, they're going to keep doing it no matter how specific the rule is. Even if there's no way around accepting responsibility, they're still going to argue. I trust the mods with their decisions regarding these type of people--since the problem isn't the rules, it's the attitude towards the rules. We don't need to make our rules as strict and tight as the US law or anything. =S It's a game and it's for fun, there's going to be some rule breakers no matter what you do. If we focus too much on the rules, we might wind up accidentally punishing everyone ^_^

Your views are relevant, and there's a lot of people that share your views as equally as people share the view that the pricechange is good. Some people are just more passionate when they share, I guess ^_^ Oh, as for the level for things to get dropped.. Capes, defiantly not level-ranged unless it was a really focused-on fighting cape. Other items should be regulated better with the new price changes.

I'm a socializer, and that's about it =D I used to explore a bit... but I always find myself wandering into all the most unfortunate of places, so I stopped for a while. Almost everyone that's met me has saw me at the beam helping or chatting. ^_^ I'm not good at much anything else

I've already posted my opinion on this billions of times, but I'm going to add it again anyways. =3 Yes, it's a bit harder to get a book now. So what? Don't you think that it should be difficult to get them? Or do you think every person who wants to become a manufacturer on a whim, or an alchemist on a whim, should have as equal of a chance as people that have thought about if for a while and know that alchemy or manufacturing is their chosen skill and will work hard and do whatever it takes to get there? This way, you have to actually put some effort in there! ^_^ Work with friends to get books, help each other out, join under someone's mentorship. Also, I think it's a lot more realistic to have a class in EL that are a bit better. I mean... that's how it is in the real world, right? It's not always fair, but it happens and it's just how things are. I like the touch of realism. =D

It's not very useful for photoediting. It's relatively simplistic but you can create many different effects from it, many that you can't get with Photoshop. It's particularly useful for soft-type shading (usually less cartoony and more realistic) and water-color looking artworks. I *love* this program and I have both Photoshop and Corel Painter for comparison =D It's got two versions, both of them shareware.

Will they eventually be made to where they're faster? =S They should be made rentable at taverns or something on large maps so you can walk across places like WS a little easier XD Or have a different type of horse at taverns that walk a little bit quicker than the normal one. Or... Well, it doesn't matter. ^_^ It looks really awesome and you're doing a good job on it. I'll be happy when it's included =D

The book prices are high. I'm not sure if they're going to permanently remain this high or not. I like the update, though. I agree with what Learner said about them having to try to work with other people to aquire the books. I think the teamwork aspect of it is really neat ^_^ Also, books were way to easy to get as it was. This way, people that are researching advanced alchemy and how to make weapons have to actually risk something to go get the books that will aid them in their crafts. Or actually, once you have enough money to buy the books now, most people will have a MM cape at least. Everyone else won't go flat broke if they know what they're doing, either. It's gonna be hard to get up the GC for those first few books, but the fact that making things is going to be harder now should create a better specialty system. That way, alchemists will get more money for what they make because it'll slowly become rarer. Same with manufacturers and such. If there's less people coming into the market selling things because of it being harder to get books, then there's gonna be more freedom for people to set prices where they won't sell at losses. It might take a while to see this come into being, but it should *eventually* happen. Anyways, that's my one cents =3 With the players now taking a more active role in the way they want the economy and game and the EL team listening and trying to help, I'm confident that everything will work out for the better.

They probably won't, unless they're very lucky =S I don't agree 100% with the prices (they are pretty high ), but it's going to help some things, I think. People will be willing to pay more for special skills because it won't be as easy to say that they could simply go learn the skill themself and cut costs. Also, it's more dangerous learning things now, so the manufacturers and potion makers and etc might become worth a bit more =D Also, it might help create more of a specialty system, at least for those that first start off... No one's going to be able to pay enough for *every* single book on the market. So, they're gonna probably chose an area they're interested and buy the books just for that area until they have enough cash to spread themselves out a bit. I like the idea.. although, maybe we should space it out to where the basic jewelry/summoning/etc books are in non-monster maps and advanced ones are in monster maps. ^_^

I think the NPC prices should definitely be adjusted. Everyone always buys automatically from players because they have the cheaper prices--but, it seems like the players have no choice but to make prices cheap because NPC prices and the large amount of people making items. :\ So, make the NPC prices more expensive (maybe not quite as radically as the new books :lol: ) and stick to prices. Also, advertise on market chanel about this thread for people who aren't into the forum. ^_^

I never thought about a lot of this stuff before. ^^ I know that I can never find people in any tavern unless it's in WS and IP trying to do the first newbie quest. I rarely see people at any campfire other than the IP campfire, either. A couple people around the beam have mentioned healing faster around the campfire would be neat ^_^

I usually play full screen, but sometimes it lags my music so I have to switch to windowed.. Also, if my AIM ever decides to work, I play windowed ^_^
