Hey I'm having this issue. Everything worked fine then upgraded to windows 10, now game does open. All the GL extensions say Couldn't find, not using. Framebuffer disabled... No clue what happened from just going to windows 10 but tried all the compatibility settings and none of that worked either. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

LVL 65 Manu, Using Haidir Passes, recieved leather helm 4 times in a row. Can't imagine what the odds are of that happening but costly. Had the same thing happen with Haidir months back, same quest 10 in a row, That time only reported it to a Mod.

I think its an awesome idea, just think it needs to last longer...1 min in terms of what you need a nexus point for isn't alot of time to accomplish much.

I'm here to give a BZ to Truemen of the guild Katz. A true noob when it comes to ranging, I made numerous mistakes at the GP archery arena on the last Robin Tell Day. Biggest was decide to engage the target with my bare hands....Results : Death!! Well Trumen stopped their training to retrieve my BD, returning all my items. Then once I got back to training they explained how to prevent it from happening again, Range Lock! Ok tried completing this quest with no luck, once getting to the text stating "thanks for the dvarium ore" the ore never leaves my inventory and no xp is gained. I tried this also with the ore left it storage with the same result. Not sure if the issue is with the game or perhaps there is more then just reading through the tutorial. Spoke with Maxine (greatly appreciate your help) who couldn't find anything in reference to this issue so asked me to go ahead and post the problem here. Thanks Again tyvm Maxine for taking time to look into the issue for me.... Tried to insert screen shot, but couldn't get it to work. I hope what i have wrote here is enough.

I'm having the same issue as far as not being able to connect. On start up I get to "connecting to server" and it never connects. The reason I'm posting a reply here is because whatever help you offer might help me as well... I want to ask a question and not sure if it will help Racim or not but I've read previous post concerning connection issues and alot reference port:2000 along with chr0nik post quoting Usl well when I go into my EL program file "EL.ini" (think this is correct) it list port: 2001 in one of the first couple of lines. Am I missing something here?? Is port 2000 one used from before now its 2001, or this line referring to 2001 nothing to think about, EL uses the 2000 port????? I tried changing any file that referenced 2001 to 2000, but still got no change in my connection problem so I'm guessing this line referring to port 2001 is nothing the game even uses when loading. I have McAfee virus software and having given full permissons to the EL program which changed nothing, turned off firewall completely...nothing. All I did was go from 1.80 to 1.90 Racim I hope I dont take away from your post and only bring more ideas to help us both resolve our connection problems. Thanks, Tsu/Bush

Posting a PK`ers name in outlaws for killing you doesn`t really mean much to the PK`er other than perhaps a good laugh... I say more power to them if thats what they choose to do....perhaps let other players know who to look out for when they enter a PK map.... but just an FYI......watch out for everyone if your in a PK map, only makes sence.

I've been playing El for over two years now and have enjoyed (almost) every minute of it..... One thing I've heard alot was how (developers) wanted to keep the game as realistic as possible. This I understand, making things should take hard work...not just be given to the player.......I fully think players need to earn "it" whatever it may be, lvl's...make a potion...manu a piece of gear. The thing I can say with full and total honesty....Tankel and the way he operates is total bs. You want to be realistic, well tell me who in their right mind pays for a repair man to destroy their stuff??? Nobody!!!! The fact he cant repair and destroys the item....this is realistic, I can see that. Things maybe broke beyond a repairman's capability, or he could make a mistake....nobody is perfect! The thing I believe should change is why should anyone in their right mind have to pay for him to break their items.... Realize this is me venting sence I stopped using my NMT cape and have lost tons of items to tankel....but isn't it possible to re-think this issue and try to make it more fair?? Tankel being a bad repairman, I can understand that....but why should we "EL Players" have to pay for that?? Can this change or can you explain the thinking behind why we lose gc even tho he destroys the item.....To me, isn't the lose of a expensive item enough?

First I dont see how you can compare Tankel to a Doctor.........not even close. With human life...yes fate plays a part and you cant hold that against a doctor...so you should pay. Fixing a piece of equipment, totally different....transistor A goes in slot B, well there is no mistaking that.... If the repairman puts it in slot C and destroys the equipment....thats on him and not the responiblity of the owner. We all know there isn't a court in the world that would make the owner still pay the repairman for services he not only didn't fulfil but destroyed the item completely in the process. I wont go on any furture with this....We all know who's opinion matters here.....and that aint me, so whats the point in arguing. At least I was able to put it out there so thanks for that.....

Not that I know of, and in that case I think the Doctor would have to pay money..... Now I like that idea, he breaks it....he has to pay for it.

Well my complaint wasn't with the breaking of the item, it was having to pay for his mistake. Cant the loss of the item be enough??

If this has been reported already I appologize.....I went back like 13 pages at which I stopped. Problem is...while I have EL minimized at the bottom of my screen, Sometimes when I have Yahoo Messenger up and typing back and forth with friends.....what I type there comes out in open chl in EL. I have had other people say it happened to them as well. Not sure if its just Yahoo or all messengers it happens with since me as well as them were all using Yahoo. Thnx for your time and again sorry if this was already reported......

Wasn't sure if I should post here or help, so I'll just put it here. This is in regards to the map of Thelinor. Not sure if its a rule or suppost to or not but it doesn't give you any warning you are entering a PK map when you leave the confines of the city walls. There is a skull & crossbones signs but you dont get that warning like KF. If you enter any of the smaller things like a tent or cave you will get the red "other players can attack you message" and the same when you come back onto the main map, so it seems to only be when leaving city walls you dont get anything. ANYTHING, other than the "I'm Lorck so anything I say must be TRUE" Weather you want to believe it or not, when you come to Forums and make post about how unfair or lame something is, THATS CRYING! Its just like all the other conversations, alot of people can remember the post that was started when I used the BROD.....throughout the whole thing people kept saying BROD was so lame and using BOD is different, BOD is a cool weapon.... What was that statement you made lorck....two wrongs don’t make a right, yet if Don goes out and does it...that’s ok, its just to prove a point. Many things have changed in this game over time, cool down for example....many ppl hated it and still do but they try to adapt and continue playing.....those that didn't stopped playing, which is a shame but if you can't adapt to what is put into place (brod the topic here) maybe you need to quit too...or stop complaining and start adapting.
