    It's impossible to diagnosis what is happening unless you can provide more information.  Like what you are doing when it crashes, how it crashes (does the game window just close for example).  Also, as I said the timing seems odd and could well suggest it is something else on your system causing the problem.  For example, could it be anti-virus software scanning and killing the client?  Some other software using all the resources?  Any clues might help.

    I am on windows.

     

    when this happens, the client stops responding (says "(Osirus on main) Eternal Lands (Not Responding)" in client window), if you click anywhere, you get the iconic "Windows is searching for a solution to this problem" and brings a prompt to "wait to find a solution" or "end task"

    Doesn't matter what i am doing ingame.. it has crashed doing nothing at all, invasioning, walking, mixing, harvesting.. literally anything.. I don't think that effects it...but only once per day, requiring computer restart. which is strange.
     

    i do not get any red message from the client (alt-x to close, etc), the client just stops responding.

     

    Anti-virus software is disabled on my computer, as is windows auto-updates. 

     

    I can play any other game at ultra settings for hours and hours on end without any issue whatsoever at all.. i really dont know what is going on

     

    my specs are i7 9700k, Nvidia RTX 2070 Super, 32GB Ram DDR-4400. 

     

    i am on wifi connection but nothing else requiring an internet connection stops working when this crashes.. nothing. i can stream any game at 60 frames, download speed around 1gb, upload speed around 120MB.

     

    I will be happy to provide anything else you may need to help me get this figured out. I really appreciate your time, i know this is frustrating as i am not really great at any of this.

    Hi, yes, it happens once every day. It is this precise. It just happened again, down another rosto in invasion.

    nope, once per day, everyday havent been able to repeat it

    Hi, i have made some changes per Aislinn to my data directory and also changed that pathway in my el.ini file.

    I have changed the data dir to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Eternal Lands" as that is the location of my game, also i have changed that in the el.ini in the #data_dir section to the same.

    Hi, my client crashes once per day requiring full console restart in order to begin playing again. I am currently on Bluap's client as of today, but this happened daily with the old client to. Hope someone can help.

     

    when i downloaded the bluap client, i used this link:

    i have only used the bluap client as of 3 hours ago, today, and it just crashed requiring restart. I have always used the old client otherwise, and it has been crashing daily for almost 3 weeks.

    How did you fix your problem?

    I re-installed the update over my client again, but I still don't think I did it correctly.. today I have horrible lag, and I've done everything I could to try to make it go away, etc.

    Still white load/sign in and the load times are much longer than what they used to be.

    getting about ~5 FPS when I used to get ~35-40.

    radu, I fixed my problem.. Was able to install 1.9.2 correctly. Still have the white load screen/login and I am unable to select 'eye candy' in options but those are my only problems to note.

    996 MHz, 1.50GB RAM

     

    Not exactly what we would call computer literate, so I hope this helps any. With update I was able to login. That was about it, before it crashed.

     

    Also, I'm not sure how to find what type of video card I'm currently using.

    Video card: GeForce4 420 Go 32M/AGP/SSE2

    got no loading screen/account info screen background and almost everything is blury

     

    edit: blur are the icons like use , use with , spells quikbar, and items icons in my inventory and storage

    Downloaded and installed..

    When restarted client, there was no background to the loading screen(The usual boat), but the game was able to load all the way?

    Then when I signed in everyone was invisible around me, but the landscape was there (i.e. the cave I was in and the silver deposit.),and I was given an 'error report' and game closed immediately.

    I think this is an update, not a full installation. So install over 1.9.1

    (at least the linux package is)

    Edit: You will need a binary from git too.

     

    So I need to re-install the whole client from the homepage?

    Downloaded and installed..

    When restarted client, there was no background to the loading screen(The usual boat), but the game was able to load all the way?

    Then when I signed in everyone was invisible around me, but the landscape was there (i.e. the cave I was in and the silver deposit.),and I was given an 'error report' and game closed immediately.
