  2. what do i use my pickpoints on?

    Do not max reasoning and will if you still want to fight. I have a 60s a/d char with both maxed and it's very useless for fighting anything. You will really need the PPs later on to spend on other attributes and the xp bonus from reasoning and will isn't so big for a fighter. (Think of it this way, you will need to have much higher a/d to train on a certain mob then =>you'll actually get less xp than if you'd spent in inst or p/c). Even if right now your p/c is high enough keep in mind you'll need to increase it pretty much when you reach fluffs and feros and even more when you reach chims(and then you'll need instinct too). If you want to be stuck on fluffs or feros at 140 a/d you can max your reasoning and will now though. As for SOME will, heck not maxed but i'm talking about 12-20, it can be useful especially for an allrounder but I'm pretty biased since I'm one of the few fighters with any will and no vitality. However will is expensive to remove so you should think twice and probably just stick to vitality instead. Judging by his stats Mcb is mostly a fighter though so vitality should a good choice.

    No, I don't know of any but armed skeletons have the same ignore level anyway(26) and unarmed skeletons aren't the best mobs to train of because they have low toughness and material points, better train on gobs/gargs/spiders instead. And to previous topic, I've trained enough chars (4 or so) past 30s a/d to know it does take much less time to get 20->30 than 120->130. EDIT:Typo, ty Miix

    +1 . 900k isnt really that much in the grand scheme of things. But, like you said, nothing to fix it now. lol rly, peoples unwillingness to sacrifice in the name of making the game better holds EL back so much. I have full AP, and if removing it would truly help game balance then i'd be happy for it to be removed. Still going offtopic but I'd be willing to get APs removed as well, the "natural" APs increasing with rang level are enough so you'd need like rang 70-80 to always AP at day which would make people actually train rang too, I'm not training it since I don't do much less dmg at level 37 than someone with 50 and it costs heaps to train, much more than those AP pots. And yes, i have 60 APs, 900k isnt really much compared to cost of buying PPs and nexus anyway...and it sure helps a lot more than one pickpoing(and you can't even get one with 900k). Of course this is just dreaming, it's not going to happen because people will be bitching about losing their 900kgc. EDIT:Typo

  10. Short bow vs Elven Bow

    I have no idea what your question is (maybe next time you should pose one ... ), but here the base range damage per hit for the bows: short: 3-8 long: 6-11 recurve: 8-13 elven: 12-17 cross: 10-15 hope it helped Erm, I think that's the damage you deal when you hit someone over the head with the bow, not when you shoot an arrow out of it! No EP, I think all the bows have 5-8 melee damage. But to the first question it'd take you less than a minute to notice that elven bow makes much more damage than shortbow(and why would longbow cost more and be less accurate than short if it didn't do more dmg?) Alberich posted pretty much the correct damages per bow. AP doesnt really affect max dmg, only how often you bypass target's armor, but level and WH perk increase damage(perception doesn NOT increase dmg afaik). EDIT: Typo

    Sounds pretty pointless to me i.e. it'd only be about your gear/levels and luck. Usually PK has at least some kind of skill aspect which makes it interesting for most people.

    I think you should wait a few days and check breaks again though, some people didnt train because they were unsure how much stuff they'd break yesterday. I think in a few days the amoung of training will get back to normal and you can make better conclusions. That's just my 2 cents anyway. FeLkkU

    I agree with Korrode (at least partly), BoD/scythe is completely fine for PK in any occasion. Players' opinions on BroD vary greatly though, some thing it's ok to use against any enemy(or even neutral), some don't want to use it at all. Anyway 99% of PKers wear either mage pants or COTU so it'd not be very good idea to try to BroD(or BoD) them . EDIT:Typo

    Ok, I'll train more to see if it was just a coincidende or if something really changed. I agree my sample size is too small to say anything for sure.

    Almost all the hits did actual damage before, i'd say maybe 80-90% since I only have 26 toughness, but I only degraded 2 tit shields, 1 greaves and a few steel shields and 1 stars 1 moon med in last 5k yeti, and now more than half of that in a bit over 100. EDIT: Not sure if armor breaking is a coincidence too. I seemed to break an aug part in PvP about every 2 restores too(no CoL)

    Check the logs from before acid rain, I broke 3 meds, js and ti greaves in 120 yetis. A few friends also broke pretty much stuff before acid rain, I think. Weapons seem to be more likely to break as well, with the current breakrates mobs that crit often(e.g. yeti) seem to break a lot of armor.

    Yes, it seems much better now. I just broke 2 meds within 30 mins of yeti training though but it's too early to say whether that was just bad luck or not. Yesterday's bugs seem to be gone though, good. EDIT: 15mins later i broke tit greaves EDIT2: Total 3 meds, used tit greaves and degraded js in 1h30

If by 'easier' you mean bring us at least into the realm of exp/h that people like 30+ a/d under us are getting (will still be a bit less than what many feros trainers get), then ya :> I don't think it's too much to ask considering how much more exp we need to level than they do. Yes, you can do 330k an hour on Feros at 110 a/d but you get less on higher level monsters. Also 300k/h at 110 A/D is much faster than 300k/h at 130s. You can do 400/k hr on double feros at those levels and still last like 8 hours(or more with high vit) per restock. At 130s you can only get 400k/h from better irin double yeti or maybe kj trice if youre lucky . And yet we need much more xp and last much shorter time at spawn. Not to mention MCWs before yeti, you're lucky to get 250-280k/min at high 120s/low 130s. EDIT: I'm not talking about LO, I heard theyre good but I'd need more a/d levels first. More like a mob between feros and LO or adjusting trice to give more xp/hr(and profit would go down if gc drop and respawn was reduced, that's fine).

    What do you mean, 10 damage from some monsters is BS? Do you mean that lower level mobs shouldnt hit me for 10 damage? Fem gob just did 16 damage . I have to look at my code when I get home, might be some bug, but I am pretty sure this is not what this change does. It does do that though, a friend(130s d) got hit by armed skele for 19 and another(120s d) by rat for about 5 damage.

    Total exp earned in EL: 491435596 XP lost in resets: -9065(I reset once at 50 OA or so but oa is lower tha total xp due to scholars) Attack+defence XP: 89%, I guess I'm a fighter.

    Yes, it was certainly interesting, a bit like some of the TG/PVMS invasions before (except now you had 5 secs to look around because you changed map), so not russian roulette like magic school invasions. I had fun exploring and checking all the houses, not as monotonic as some of the spawn invasions . I'd certainly like to see another one.
