  1. GreyElf,

What version of OS do you have on your Mac. I also have a Mac (OS 10.8.4 recently upgraded from 10.6.8) and have not had a problem with them being in ~user/Library/Application Support/Eternal Lands/updates/1_9_3/maps. I do not have them in any other location. The Library/Application Support/Eternal Lands/main/maps is where the data for the personal map markers is stored.

  2. New Tab Maps (zipped map pack) are available at http://www.el-cel.com/info/files.php

The maps are available in two resolutions:

For newer computers please download Olivine Map Pack HiRes (Zip)

For older computers please download Olivine Map Pack LowRes (Zip)

The lower resolution maps should will resolve the problem of the white maps on older computers.

These are current as of July 22, 2013 and include many corrections (listed below)

Previews of individual maps are available on the EL-CEL site Game Components>Maps

  4. I was not sure if a necro from 2004 would be the best idea, so i chose this post.

the should be some quest for some guy and then he sells them cheaper and there you have it our first decent quest :)

Crafting was the hardest/toughest skill for a long time, not only time consuming but also very expensive and it was supposed to stay that way.

Today, it still is a skill you have to work your butt off to increase your levels (that is especially when making everything yourself and not having a gc-farting mule ;) ).

This is not about making crafting more easy or (much) more profitable. This is about a new quest  ...

..and the reward! Leather, wine...gem sander?! I would love to see it become cheaper as a reward for a quest. The quest can and should be both time and gc comsuming (but please not as much as the tutorials hehe), the style like the the other 2 MM quests.

I can't think of a negative effect from that, can you?

I think this quest would nicely compliment the leather discount for manufacturing and the wine discount for potioning.

  5. The new graphics are excellent.
