You download and install the El Client. Then you run the client hit enter and then click on New Charactor. If that doesn't work... please post the exact error you get to the Help Me section of the forum.

Beorn - I clap for you too.. This isn't an easy thing to do. I think people are just reacting to you quitting so abruptly, and without notice to customers. You could have tried transitioning the business to someone else.. or hiring people to take some of the load (which is what I've had to do with Herk, and may extend to others soon). This is a tremendous amount of work and I am impressed that you did it alone for so long.. If you would like to make some gc doing Alch by order again, come talk to me.. I'm sure that we could work together. captdeadhead - Herk has made some incredible progress in the past two days on your order. Over 500 iron bars and over 100 steel bars have been completed. I expect to be able to deliver them mid next week (at the latest).

As an American, I don't think everything is war. But I know that it is laughable to have called Vietnam and Korea 'Police Actions'. I also think that for most people it is easier to say and understand 'war' than it is 'active hostilities'. (Doesn't excuse the use of inacurate terms, but makes it more understandable.)

Hmm.. I don't know the answer either, but I have an Idea for testing... There are potions for each attribute (I think there is one for each.), and I believe that they each raise the stat by 5... You could make/get some of these potions and see what results you get...

I think that Ent is being very generous. It would probably be easier to delete the offending accounts without warning, and then ignore peoples pleas for restoral. I think that there is a common misconception that may be affecting this conversation. The misconception that I am speaking of it 'most fighters make a lot of money'. I started this game as an alchemist, making FE's... I can now make bars reliably (about 90% success). I have also broken into fighting... and can now pwn several Gargoyles without healing. With alchemy I was always making some gc, even if it was selling FE to an NPC for 3gc each. I have only now started to make money fighting, with breakage rates and the cost of potions that allowed me to stay out there and fight. My stats Alchemy: 33/33 Attack: 37/37 Defense: 38/38 At 33 I'm an accomplished alchemist and even with A/D at higher levels than my alch I have much further to go before I'd call myself an accomplished fighter. I think that one of two things needs to happen: 1. Create more things for alchemists to create, make the higher level things even harder to make, and create new things in the other skills that use those resources at a greater rate. 2. Realize the current reality, alchemy is not a 'Profession' in this game... it is however a core skill in order to be able to be a crafter, manufacturer, or Magic-User. Currently, if only relatively new people made essences for sale, the supply would go down and the price would increase.

If someone takes money from my wallet... Forgiveness is allowing them around me, not leaving my valuables within their view. If this person was ever really a friend (the kind that one only has 3-4 of in a lifetime), then I would say forgive... but allow the trust to grow back at the same rate it grew initially or slower.

Hi everyone. I'm sorry to post something with this tone on the boards, but I really need some input from people who have been in similar situations. There is a baby, from my wife's extended family, who is going to be without a mommy and daddy, due to two heavy drug habits. My wife and I are in our very late 20's, and don't have children of our own yet, so we are both feeling the biological urges. I've always wanted a child, and never felt that it needed be my blood to be mine. It's kinda ripping my heart apart. This would be a huge life change. Everything would need to change. We would have to be much better about our finances (we have the money, but it would require a lot of restructuring, like selling my house and buying a smaller place with just the equity. Wifie would really have to stay at home for at least a while, so we would lose that income. I would need to do some significant repairs on the house. Our house keeping would need to improve. Everything would need to be baby-proofed. There will be medical problems, the baby has withdrawal symptoms (they don't know if they will ever go away). And there will be legal problems… I have no doubt that the mother would try to stay involved, and even try to get the baby back. I know I just listed a bunch of negatives, but my heart is still pulling me toward trying to make a home for the baby. If you've been in a situation like this, or are just a fairly new parent, I'd like to hear from you. Thanks,
