yes, clearly all the way back to the foundations of the religion there have been large divides in philosophy/teachings/interpretations. many radicals and many peaceful followers. it is a major religion after all...

The "Muslims" involved in terrorism are not traditional Muslims you know. They are radicals, who read teach and preach a twisted, altered version of the Koran. This Islamic center will not be hosting these people and ideas, but rather the actual religion. It's funny, i think it was in the first section of the real Koran where it says something along the lines of: If someone is not Muslim, but follows another religion faithfully, they are ok. Sad everyone can't go with this idea.

ty Maxine, now my reply can be shorter. I don't know about you, but i like to split up all my work on different skills, so i don't get bored. And many of the funnest things to gather ingreds for and mix are not going to get you much gc or xp-most times. Mixing only for gc is one of the more lackluster elements of the game imo, and it sucks if you finally finish a long project and then have to go do it again. If you're on a casty team your used supplies probably get paid for with equal loot splitting, so you don't have to go sit and make gc harving/mixing/farming for another 3 days. You can go have fun, and if you like mixing/harving you can go back to mixing for levels or making high end items. Or harvesting fun stuff. If you make all your money farming pw's/trolls/whatever mob you are free to go train for xp now. Someone hijacking a bag of that much value just limited your fun if you would have received a cut of that bag. Now you have to do in-game chores again. You can spend $10 on bindings and sell, but this is not an option for everyone. This is at least the 2nd time he bj'd casty afaik. If it keeps happening i doubt people will bother to kill them as much. That means less fun for those who love to do it, means they maybe start playing less. Remove fun from game= people play less? maybe..

Miiks, you solve 3/4 a rubicks cube and someone comes and purposely f*cks it up i bet you get at least a little mad. you take an hour and build a house of cards, someone purposely knocks it down you get pissed, right? you come home from work and want to play EL, get a group together and take down a casty, spend much gc you took hours+hours making, then some guy steals all drops.. you'll be at least a bit annoyed? maybe you even bought these supplies with $? of course people get pissed, are you joking?

my view is biased from every single thing i've seen you do/say in game and on forums; gj, you made it very clear you are a big giant douche, all through your EL career... should anyone have any other impression of you? i am yet to hear one.. Miiks; anyone smart enough to understand what's going on knows they are hurting a player they are ripping off in game, bottom line. no psychology needed. chances are; at least a bit of an asshole. I think i already know the answer, judging from past interaction with you in game as well. Korrode you are very smart, you must only associate with sabbath because it's funny to laugh at him.. that's all i have to say on that subject. and Miiks there is a difference between spending time having fun in a game, and spending time being bored in a game? Game is supposed to be fun right? We'll use GTA as an example. You spent hours trying to collect money to buy a massive amount of weapons. you save at the end, then someone purposely saves a noob file in that same slot. now you have to waste much time if you want to go get all that stuff again.

sabbath.. in gta those are NOT player characters you're killing.. and anyway pk is fine, most times if you're there you want to be. and as for the wasting tons of someones time for kicks or profit, well.. take wuffzel for example; she just wasted 27k on pk bolts, plus whatever other supplies when morath hijacked the casty bag. obviously that's a total loss, and now she has to waste time making it up.. just an example. game no= reality. To make gc in game you must use actual time, from real clocks.. iirc Edit: i think some higher level players forget how difficult it is to make good money for a very long time in this game. The bagjumpers know, that's why they do what they do. If gc came easier and/or market wasn't quite so harsh i doubt the outlaws in game would be quite as despised. As a result the sensible community rules and those who follow them would very rarely be questioned.

EL is not real life. Hopefully no one here gets the two confused, but you guys saying bagjumping etc is ok and should even be encouraged-you know perfectly well how time consuming or $expensive it is depending how you can/want to do things, so why are you acting like people shouldn't be bothered by it? People come and steal your stuff in game they are taking your time/$ from real life, right? People who steal or scam in-game know this, and if they do it anyway IMO that's a good sign they are probably an asshole in RL as well. just sayin.. you want to do it go ahead but why argue something so obvious?

Some time ago while trying to download NES rom i may have gotten the virus that gives you misspelled virus threat messages, then directs you to their anti-virus software. Anyone know what i'm referring to? My friend tried to get rid of it and i thought it was gone, this could be related though. A few of my desktop icons have been randomly changing appearance. I ran CHKDSK and re-downloaded EL again and all seems well for now.. thanks again, much appreciated (will post the CHKDSK info when i return later)

Perhaps a series of contest/events on the pk server, with prizes awarded on the main server? If there are enough of these newbie level spare characters, they could be used for the contests. (Lent to the contestants) There is a chance that a few who lost will change the pass AND not end up using the character, but maybe some would change the pass and play.. and others would give them back so more contests could be held. I would be willing to donate an alt for something like this. If enough pk server players would log in for/participate/host the event, it could be a bit of a revival and maybe hook in some new players. Or is this a stupid idea?
