Hi, every time I log in a window pops up and says Eternal-lands client has stopped working. Is this client compatible with vista? I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling a couple of time with not luck. I would be very thankful for any help I can get.

Ok I now have it working. Had my son (the one who says i'm to stupid to own a computer) look at it. seems it was using a wrong path. he was not sure why but after much trial and error he got it to work. I thank you so much for your help and your time and hope never to have to bother you again.

Well made new char and was able to get into game. changed some of the settings as in went to poor man and turned off sound. hasn't stopped working but now can't harvest or enter buildings or such. The icon does not come up when i scroll over things. There could be other problems that i haven't found but that's where i am now.

Ok updated drivers with forceware 163 version 163.75 says it is latest drivers. still not working. Sorry to be such a pain.

Ok after much searching, a good nights sleep and with a much clearer head I have managed to come up with a little info. ACPIx86-based PC, NVIDIA Geforce 7300 GS, Intel ® Pentium ® 4 CPU 3.00 GHz Processors it is listed twice don't know if that means anything, 2.00 GB Ram. Hope it helps and thank you for your time. Have now also updated video drivers. Oh and thank you Scorpius I at least now know it is not a Vista problem.( I hate Vista)

Ok I give up. Have spent hours reading forums and could not even find out if game is now compatible with Vista. 90% of what Ent said just went over my head. I have no idea how to do any of the things he said to try. (my son is right I am too stupid to own a computer) can't even figure out what RCs is. My video card is a nvidia more than that i can't tell you. Only that when i logged in it always said it would support future updates. So I give up and guess I will wait for a patch to come out. I think we have to many pk maps as it is. Have you been on some of them? They are dead. There is no reason to go there. I walked around one for an hour and the only time I saw anyone else was as i was leaving there were 2 ppl training at the entrance. Now I'm not saying get rid of pk maps, but I am suggesting you give us a good reason to go there. Maybe something that can't be found anywhere else. Then to get item you would need to hire guards or mercenaries to get you there and back Maybe even a big city like White Stone that sells items you can't get anywhre else Starts a whole new job industry and gives life to some pretty useless maps. And just a little bit of excitement, Cause right now the game is sadly lacking that. Even having to go on monster maps is no big deal once you have mm perk or cape. Just a thought

Don't know if this story will work for the game or not, but here it is. If some changes will help let me know. If it is even good enough to be used in the game. I have not tried to write a story since i was in high school some thirty years ago lol.Anyway i know the punctuation needs work but i know very little about it and would be thankful for any help you could give. Thank you for taking the time to read it. A Returner's Story I opened my eyes but blinked them closed again. The sun was too bright it was hurting my eyes. I was so confused and afraid. What was happening? Where was I? Opening my eyes again I begin to look around. There were people there staring at me. Pointing and whispering “A returner, she’s a returner.â€I had no idea what they were talking about but I was to learn. I knew nothing about this world I now found myself in, but a kindly man came to my rescue ( I don’t even remember his name now, if he even ever told me.) But he taught me how to harvest, how to hunt and how to find my way around. Then he said he had showed me all he could and giving me some armor and a weapon he sent me on my way. I wandered around some and found there were others like me ( Returners) people who suddenly found themselves here with no memory of where they came from or why they were here. I had no choice but to try to make some kind of a life for myself here and that was what I did. I found I had a talent for making potions and was able to make a living at it. I soon found myself one of the top potion makers in the land and the potions I made were in great demand. But as busy as I was I still often found myself trying to remember how I had come to be here. Without much success I must admit. All was well and I was happy with my life and the new friends that I was making until one day as I sat at Grahm’s Village working on my potions and visiting with my new friends. It was than word came that monsters were invading the land. Many were called upon to fight the enemy but I went to isla prima to use my skills with potions to heal the wounded and dying. Eventually the invasions stopped and life returned to normal, but for some strange reason I was now having terrible headaches. Then one day as I was picking Blue Star Flowers to use in my craft, one of those horrible headaches came on with blinding speed and I fell to the ground. Holding my head and crying out in pain I lay there for I know not how long. When the headache had passed I still lay upon the ground crying but for a whole new reason. My memory had returned and I wished with all that I held dear it had not. I now remembered a land of incredible beauty. A land of sparkling streams and rivers, of wild flowers as far as you could see. Of crops so healthy and lush that hunger were an unknown thing. Of laughing happy children playing and dancing in the warm evening breeze. Of a gentle and loving people who only wanted to live in peace and harmony with nature and other people. And memories of a man so strong and handsome ...........the memories of him and the time we spent together were enough to take my breath away. I remembered that in this other life I had been a potion maker also. I had spent my days gathering ingredients for my potions or making them while this strong and handsome man, my husband spent his working the land. At night we would lay in each others arms and would talk of the life we would build together. And being young and foolish I believed it would never end, but it did all too soon. One summer’s evening as I walked hand in hand with my love though a meadow, with the smells of wild flowers and freshly cut hay floating on the warm breeze. I heard a sound that seem to freeze my heart. A sound I had never heard before and hope never to hear again. My love whispered “Run and do not stop. It is chimeran wolves we must warn the town.†But before I could take a single step, from across the near by river came the monstrous war cries of goblins. Than on the far side of the meadow, we saw the hideous forms of male orcs. So frighten was I, that I was unable to move and would surely have just stood there as these monsters killed me, if it had not been for my love, who pulled me along as he ran. Finally gathering my senses to me, I began to run on my own. We ran into the center of town yelling out our warning, but it was all in vain. The town was already over run with skeletons. Many died in their beds the warning coming too late. Others fought valiantly, but there was no hope for our brave men and women the numbers of the enemies were just too great. The sparkling rivers and streams of our fair land ran red that night with the blood of the innocent. The vile creatures showed no mercy for man, woman or child all died at their hands. My beloved was cut down as he tried to protect a mother with two small children. Turning away from this horrendous sight, it was then that I saw the chimeran wolf that had been racing toward me. There was no time to react at all, it hit me full in the chest with all it’s weight knocking me to ground. With the breath knocked from my lungs I could not even scream at the searing pain of its ripping my flesh..Mercifully this was the last that I remembered till I opened my eyes in this world with no memory of whom I was. I have my memory back now and I must live with it, but it is not easy these memories haunt me day and night. I some times return to that fair land, to South Kiliran Fields. It is nothing like the land I remember. Today Carmien Manor and village are in ruins and I wander through these ruins of another life and time. I weep for the dear friends and family whose remains still lie there But I have hope that I will see them again I find myself on isla prima a lot now days. Searching the faces of the people there. Searching for faces from long ago and for that one face, the face I hold most dear. For I reason that if I have returned than maybe he will too. Or perhaps he already has and he like so many others has no memory of that other life and what we had and now have lost. I would tell you his name, beg you to tell me if you have seen him.............but strangely the only thing I do not remember is his name I remember his face, his smell, his laugh everything but his name.

Lighten up people it's a game its suppose to be fun and some of these effects would certainly be funny. Use your imaginations and lets come up with some positive effects. how about kiss of death - every monster or pk able person you click on dies instantly limited time say 5 mins armor increase of say 50% for 20 mins instant harvest - as soon as you click on something your inv is full also limited time say 10 mins invincible - say no matter what you fight you take no damage but your att does not increase so a newb could fight a fluffy and only be doing say 5 damage to it every hit but it is doing no damage to him. he gains a ton of exp but better hope it is dead before effect wears off I have always enjoyed grab bags and thats what this ring amounts to. you never know what you got till you open it. I for one will go broke buying this ring (you know how us masochist are)

Just a fun little suggestion don't really think you will do it but here goes. How about having girls and boys names in different colors. Would sure make my life easier. Face it ladies how many times have you been called dude and I know a couple of guys who have been refered to as her or she because of their names.Doesn't seem like it would be all that hard to do. But then what do I know

Bring up your map of desert pines at the top left is the evergreen woods. the mountains in the woods has a cave entrance. when you enter cave go to the left and follow the wall till you get to the sulfur.

This is a poem from the rivan point of view hope you like it. Rivan Warriors and the wars of the Red Moon The birds were singing, their evening song When suddenly everything went so wrong. People were gasping, pointing at the sky, Holding each other in fear, but why? “Look at the moon!â€Someone managed to say. “What can be making it look that way?†Indeed the light that the moon did shed Now had turned a bright crimson red. An ill wind was blowing through the trees Causing leaves to whither in the breeze. And even the ground began to shake as if the dead were about to wake. It was than the message came to grahm’s village That hordes of gargoyles were starting to pillage. From Vermor Castle they did pour, The land of White Stone was now at war. Soldiers were needed to come and to fight. To stop the advance of this dreaded blight. “Be calm, do not panic.†Sgt Stryker said “The military is strong and being well led.†But than word came to the people’s dismay, armored goblins were now joining the fray. Fighters were needed throughout the land. The war was not going as well as planned. Rivan Warriors heard the urgent call And rushed to White Stone, one and all. Gizz gave the order “Riva prepare. The Lady Adarah was forced to fight back. And Deathguard was there to fight at her side. Protecting the lady that is Riva’s pride. Ogres had White Stone Castle under attack and the Rivan leader Coco was there to drive them back And powerful Mauriciom striking blow upon blow How many of the foe he killed only the gods will ever know. Oneforone fighting In Nordcarn to the chilly north amazing swordsmanship was he able to bring forth. Many brave warriors lost their lives to these monstrosities and Rivan Warriors were there to help stop the atrocities With the enemy again driven from their fair shores Rivan Warriors were able to find rest from the wars But still an ominous wind does blow and things are not quite right. So Rivans keep your weapons close and watch the moon at night.

Very nice ballad. I really enjoyed it. I am writing a poem on the war myself from a rivan point of view and was looking for the right thing to call this war and think you have named it just the right thing. Will refer to it as the red moon war myself if you do not mind.
