  1. Burn, I cannot thank you enough for this.  I am a total compuidiot when it comes to dealing with/understanding computers.  However, I try not to let them scare me and with your instructions above I was able to fix the wiki!

  2. also being one who uses and mixes meters, I would like to see them changed to show invisible mobs, there's nothing worse than breaking them only to find out the last mob is an invisible rat.  Also the rating of the mobs does not really show the strength of the invaded creatures (as of now I think chims and above are rated as vs mobs...there's a big difference between a feros and a nasty giant)

     


  3. I am trying to make a special potion. I need 10000 Gypsum of which I  have 0, 1200 Amber and I have 250,
    50 Refined Vegetal Mixture of  which I already have 50, and finally, 25 Orange of which I already  have 5. 
     

    I mixed the rvms tonight and took them to the npc.  As of now, there is 3370 gypsum and 30 amber on the bot

    Also, thinking ahead, as you can see here http://bots.el-services.net/Global_Quest.php alot of flowers will be needed

  4. Having not participated in invasion for a very long time, I was a bit surprised to be asked if I would like an invasion to celebrate my birhday yesterday. I responded that if I had a choice I would like an old school global invasion with some hidden mobs and no caps. Wizzy and Riptide did a stellar job of creating a "blast from the past" for me. I blew through several invasionmeters and at the end I will admit I think I missed some...you got me!

  5. During my time playing EL, I spent a great deal of time honing and leveling my ranging skills. While I do see some benefit to not making any changes to the way things are, I must say imo the benefits outway the drawbacks. For instance, in invances if a ranger is standing too far away, there is a chance that mob will turn in the direction of the distant attack. I am not sure how the mobs are programmed to attack, but I have seen them go to the closest player and have also seen them go to the lowest a/d player. A good ranger can help to kill a mob quickly thus reducing the amount of supplies the fighters need to use. Another benefit during an invance is the ability for a low a/d ranger to range mobs from the wall without pulling said mob to the gate during the beginning onslaught.

    Finally, swords/axes are meant to be used in melee combat, bows and arrows are designed to be used from a distance.

    In the spirit of promoting teamwork, please change this.
