I understand what you're saying partially, but people should learn to deal with those risks. It might be more convinient, but it seems people will always be ready to jump you. I've never been scammed because I don't take those sort of risks. I only posted on the forums again in the first place because I was bored. The reason I say that I don't mind scammers/bagjumpers is because I think EL's community is a little too friendly. By no means am I saying that RuneScape's community is good, that would be an example of a community that's not friendly enough (in short: RuneScape's community is too full of asses). But when it gets to the point where you get spammed with PMs from 10 other people just for PKing someone, it's out of hand (experienced that first-hand...No, it was not a scam or trick in any way...I didn't ask them to train, I just walked in and killed them).

It's a lesson to those who get scammed. Once they get scammed once, they're less likely to be scammed again, thus becoming smarter. So what's so wrong about it?

Anyone stupid enough to fall for a scam deserves to be scammed. ^_^

I will admit that I hated that space story, at least the half of it that I even bothered to read...but if you're really offended by an NPC calling you a "pice of shit", then... ignore it. If you are able to clearly play the game well, then why are you offended by a childish swear word? Like others have said- I find it quite funny. It's not coming from an actual person- it's an NPC saying the supposed 'offensive' word.

Getting the top summoning level in THAT short of a time period is definetly something to be proud of. Congrats

Yeah, I see no need to change the rings...they would be made worthless, as others have said, especially when the beam command is taken out. Compare the odds of a harvester dying with a fighter dying...this will just be made worse if the rings are changed. If the rings do happen to be changed, I think that the harvesters should have a higher chance to die somehow.

I was reading some threads the other night, when I came across one that stated someone kept logging off and on to keep a god blessing intact. So I thought maybe it would be more useful if you could get a god blessing anywhere, probably for a higher price than 25gc. It would give gods some more use...20% more experience isn't exactly a lot. I was thinking maybe it should be a # command, such as #god_blessing. It would automatically take the money and give you the blessing where you stand, or, if you didn't have enough, it would state that you don't have enough gc and not give any blessing at all. Of course, it wouldn't be able to pile-up temporary levels from the effect of a potion or anything.

Summoning is not "pathetic", like some people say it is. I completely agree with what Aisllinn said, it's no worse than people who spend all of their pickpoints on physique and coordination.

There's another topic regarding this in the suggestions forum...but I completely agree once again, making things slower not only makes it more boring, it encourages people to make programs that use some form of autoing for it. I don't think it's right when someone who is 45 levels over the recommended level should have to wait for a long time just to make a single life essence.

I like the idea...the spell is pretty weak as it is. It would also make summoning a more useful skill, as previously mentioned.

I think Godless isn't really worth the 8 pickpoints if you're going to be a fighter. Just get some more overall levels to make up for it (I know OA levels aren't that easy to get once you get higher, but it's still very possible). Also, Daxon is right...gods really do help fighters (I serve the defense god).

I still think there should be more small garg spawns, since they drop pretty good items.
