  1. Expiring bots

    CR_Trader : paid $30 - transaction ID is 3W878814E0688763D Thank you
  2. fast action point regeneration in PK

I believe it has to be a few well-designated areas in a few different PK maps, so it's neither too easy nor too difficult to spot the action point recoverers
  3. Auction Steel Bars

Ok, i'll do the first bid 300kgc
  4. Poll for the 80-100 invances boss

I think, 3 Nasps or 5 Chitros, or even 2 Giants, all are fine to me, but if they are added, remove a few of the MCW and 1 Yeti, and in any case let them spawn somewhere very distant, since bosses are normally cowards ;D 30 chitros are definitely too much, even if they replace the yeti... and dilimac should remain the 60-80 boss i guess....not to be used in any other context.
  5. fast action point regeneration in PK

Sounds a good idea, and funny, i wonder if it would draw more PKers into PK zones
  6. New Spell Ideas

To be able to cast that spell, you need to read a "book of bewitchment", available only from Circe
  7. Boss for the 80-100 Invance

Giants will prove pretty hard (though not impossible) to kill if no rangers are there. Yes it has occurred that no rangers were present in the 80-100 ! If you want bosses, Naspas or 'trices would be easier on a melee-only team. However, i also found that the massive amount of Yeti/MCW are pretty hard when team is small, if bosses then please replace some of these.
  8. New Spell Ideas

Hi there! I really appreciate this post and believe it's fun to see the magic skill expanded with some nice new nifty spells. Is this supposed to work only on the mobs engaged?... Then it would have indeed the same application as a diss ring, but you'd normally use the diss ring when you're low on mana, so you won't ever apply this spell for disengaging. I think another possible implementation of a "fear/terror" spell would be, turning all monsters in a 5x5 square into "shy" for a short time, making them run away from you- before they are engaged. It wouldn't work on AI monsters and players, of course. Might be hard to implement, but funny. I wonder if it could control a Lich, too ? I think with a cost of 30 essies it would be useless in instances due to it's cost, but i think it's still useful in PK. Very nice, seems already pretty powerful. Should really be a high level spell with considerable cost. I'm also thinking of some remote buff spells, with which the mage can help the party, possibly spells that affect a whole range or a whole group of friends, like remote toughness or strength boosts. Also some nicely animated elementary spells Fire/Ice Bomb/Flash would be funky, which should be rather cheap (e.g. 3 FE, 2 WE, 3 AE and low mana) and give some special damage according to the element they are related to. Some spells might be available to the phoenix only (provided the glyphs would become makeable in game)
  9. Expensive dragons

Agreed, the RD summon has no practical use in game these days except for show-off, and there are other summons which are too expensive for their effect, or their ings require too much EMU. One reason is, the player base has much higher a/d than at the time when summons were introduced- so, which was considered powerful back then, now is weak in comparision. I've been thinking about it but sadly, i don't know how to solve this. When looking at the Red Dragon only, yes, reduction of ings would definitely help.
  10. Need new daily for alchemy

It's hard enough to provide essences and potions even for my own needs, let alone some greedy and hungry NPC
  11. Auctioning Steel Bars

Happy to see this! I'll be in and out throughout the day and watch out for you, I'm in European time zone.
  12. Auctioning Steel Bars

    454 k
  13. I was tanking lots of 80-100 instance monsters with an AoF instead of SoP, i would say, the effects are comparable but can't really decide which is better, all i can say the SoP works smoother
  14. S2E project

Mixing on site uses a bit less food (e.g. fruit instead of toads/bones), but definitely a lot less muling of iron ore. You may want to check out one of the "well-known" iron/coal caves, too. Mixing S2E : you'd best have 15-20 manu levels above recommended but you don't have to do it on your own, some manuers would trade your ings+food for S2E just for the mixing XP.
  15. Poison formula

I believe, there's a poison strength counter for each mob that corresponds to the amount of poison ingested. A toadstool poisoning, for example, would add 18 (?) to the counter. Every 10 seconds, (counter/3) "poison damage" is applied and the counter is lowered by 1 until it's zero. Different sources of poison change the counter in a different way - toadstool always ADDS a fixed number, probably 18. Getting hit by poisoned caltrops also adds a similar number. The "poison" spell SETS the counter to an amount which depends on the magic level and rationality of the caster and the magic protection of the target. So, for example, if you see the HP dropping by 5, the poison strength might have been 15, 16, or 17- you would have to wait up to 30 seconds to know exactly.
  16. That's similar to asking for Donald Duck to become a Yak. It's a cool character, we should keep him the big headed alpha cat he is, with minor changes at max.
  17. selling some Storage

Hi!... I'd like to buy all of these * ale @3gc each * iron swords @300gc each * pickaxes @20gc each * feran horns @15gc each
  18. Magic Suggestions

Let's take into consideration that it already DOES take the slot for a possible armor (that's what human nexus is for) - it would only affect the boots and the sword the mage can wear. But it's an interesting thought.
  19. How many Earths fit in the Sun ?

Good reason to stay below 100 in all skills.
  20. Say NO to ACTA!

Nice try, but we all have to face it: Big Brother's Reign is already beginning.
  21. New instance change

While this new rule makes sense to prevent excessive farming with only very few specialized players involved, in our case it provided quite a disappointment. We entered with 5, one was joining as a guest and died early because of poor equipment, dropping out. The remaining 4 were experienced instancers, so even as a small team they would have had a good chance to finish. One (me) had to log out temporarily becuause of an unexpected visitor. At this very time someone else grued due to poor connection - when i came back 2 minutes later, we all had gotten kicked. I was especially annoyed because i wasn't expecting this to be possible, yet it was mostly my fault. Something like this would solve this very issue to me. Another idea : have a timer which ends instance only when there's less than 3 people for more than, say, 5 minutes.
  22. Please not!... Taking perks right after creating a new char can be helpful to achieve special a/d or non-a/d builds. I believe the extra gc needed to take most perks already does prevent most newbies from taking too many perks early on.
  23. change guild ranks

I also found it would be a lot more convenient if you wouldn't have to wait for a player coming online before you can change their ranks, especially for those being absent for long periods of time. I believe it has been introduced so you can't change ranks behind their back, but who knows... they might be getting a message when coming online next time tho' but that would be extra work for the programmer. I agree, this will be helpful.
  24. Enhance Pheonix

Have you been fighting any real EL battles, e.g. boss mobs or PK - or was it more on the experimental stage? I believe the glyphs really need to be makeable in game to give them a chance at all. No spells at all might be pretty lame tho' - so looking at this, it need at least a healing spell and a damage spell.... BR-Pots alone don't do too very well and GHP's can't be mass-produced- the spells could be different, normally unavailable spells, and the ings for special phoenix spells might be cheaper than the usual ones, since the usage of CF ALREADY is expensive. In general, it's probably better to do too little tweaking than to make them too powerful - before any real life experience have been collected, it's still possible to add more features later (not sure how much work it is)
  25. bots with no gc

It just looks so very pr0 and awesome if you buy an "UNLIMITED" number of an item that costs 5kgc or even 100kgc I guess such bots are rather frowned upon, it makes the "inv"/"wanted" lists longer than necessary, and the person who accidentally or stupidly sells/buys those items will feel cheated upon. Another issue - in this case, applies to Dogbreath's item search (which is really kewl btw) Bots that ARE NOT online should not be listed! Edit: This matter is being taken care of, there was an issue at a different stage, thanks for looking Sir Odie !
