The bidding for the auction starts at 100k gold coins. The auction will end @ 9:00 pm Eastern time on friday the 15 of june. (48 hours from time of this post) There is a buy it now price of 400k Gold coins. If someone wants the stone for that price and bids have not exceeded 400k all bids in the auction will be null and void. OK, so does that mean we are still getting the benefits of the perk? If so I would rather leave things alone. If not will I have to reset so my PP are not wasted on an ineffective perk. On one hand I would rather keep it if its effective but on the other hand I don't want an unfair advantage [and I dont want 7 wasted pp ]. What's the fix that makes most sense for the game?

I still have it also. Its been nearly a year since I was last on. definatly didnt get any PP's back. I just made 1K fe's and no EFE. edit: fwiw, I also have the godless perk(but no other perks). maybe related maybe not.

Well then I will do the opposite of complain and give Kudo's to the game for having it in there, and kudo' to the Npc that that uses real language, and Kudo's to the mother for not bowing down to the politeness police. I would like to add that as an adult I am quite offended when people talk to me as if I were a child and say such silly things as poopoo.

I think its a good idea. Reduce the clik whenever possible says I. The making of things is one of the last bastions of "clik for xp" I see in the game. You dont have to clik the item for each harvested item. You dont have to clik the enemy for each sword swing in a fight. You don't have to clik the book each minute to get your research points when reading. you dont have to clik the edge of the screen continuously to walk a distance. A great many things in the game are or have become automated. I have seen no serious reason why this should not be so for making things. I dont even have a problem with the eating of food being automated for the making of things. There is still the more meaningfull limit of how much you can carry. It's not like someone is going to be able to load up on material and food then clik and go AFK to come back 2 hours later and by 5 levels higher. The making of things will still require the complex actions of unloading the goods and reloading with raw materials. It won't even appreciably speed things up because the time to make each item would remain as is. Changing the making of things and even the eating of food while making things to an automated process will only REMOVE SOME OF THE TEDIUM from the game. And that's a good thing.

Immerentis, good point. Make it so PP gained from antiperks are not sellable. Also make the price of PP change with OA. So at OA 5 a PP is cheap. at OA 55 a PP is worth more. In any case im sure harvesting fricken flowers will still be a faster way to make money If abuse is such an issue to everyone maybe we shouldnt have reset as an option. Reseting is like starting a new character with immediate high skills and it can be considered to be abused. It seems to be a standard tactic to go low on P/C to more easily gain combat level then reset and start putting PP in P/C when you are high enough in combat skill to kill high xp monsters. I know of a group that goes All rationality till all the books are read then resets and follows whatever career path they choose. why is that not abuse? They are not changing thier minds, they are using reset as part of a strategy. They are using a function of the game in an unintended way to thier advantage. I believe that is the definition of abuse...

One thing stef said that I dont think yawl caught was a trade ratio when reassigning pp. Like you give back 2 PP and get only 1 back. OR give 5 get 4.. whatever. That would pretty much stop any abusing you are paranoid about. It would also allow a change of heart without basically having to start all over. It would add options in any case. I dont think she meant this but the phrase she used "sell pickpoints" brings to mind another interesting option. What if you could sell a PP you earned for cash? Not to other players of course because that would be easily abusable, but sell them to the wraith and you get 2k coins, 10k coins, 7 coins... the amount would provide an endless topic for debate.

I never said I wanted bots banned. Just want to stop any new ones showing up for awhile untill some hard fast rules are made for them. Time interval for bots I thought was 10 minuts between messages. Ill have to recheck the bot threads. You cant just ignore a bot and forget about it. They cause to much extra chat in the channel. yesterday people were forcing salt to spam by repeatedly asking for the same thing just to see it talk. I love the suggestion about salt PM'ing those things. That's a perfect solution. Maybe one to look into being made a rule. I dunno. Just want discussionon the matter before it gets even worse. By the way the best bots are the Wanderers... they add to the game without interfering in anything like the trade bots in the market channel.

It seems more than just I are getting tired of the trade bots. How about a moratorium on new trade bots untill the subject can be debated and looked into a bit more. The things are annoying and are really starting to clutter up the trade channel. Yes, most of us are bright enough to just add them to our ignore lists. Doing that however does not stop the associated bot chat that erupts when these automatons spew their redundant pleas for your coin. Anyone who spends time in the market channel is tired of explaining "xxxx is a bot" and " people with anti-social buy from them". We are sick of bot spam and bot explaining spam.
