How would the creatures then counter-attack? If they can only be killed with ranged, they won't come down? or would they crap on you to death or smth? not thought out competely.

Some time earlier Radu mentioned he would change the tit long formula to produce multiple swords from one set of ingredients. But I don't know what/if he said about modable sword chance if the change was implemented.

if tg, pl and naralik are not newbie-friendly, how is whitestone then? it has gargs, who ignore def 26, while goblins ignore def 21. and that's less.

by removing these potions you remove any chance for a lower level player to boost up and survive more than 1 hit.

IMO all this is just for exp, nothing else. You can get mercury from NPC, as well as finished essences. You can get vials from NPC as well, and quite cheap. You can get arrows from NPC too. So having the tools to make them would only give exp. You'd get the items, but slower, and it might be a bit more expensive. My vote: doesn't matter. It's good as it is.

If that gives you more space to train, then why not. BUT what about yeti farming? I ain't a high a/d player, but still hear people saying "I need that and that and will go farm yetis". If more spawns are added, then it will mean more gc coming in game, and basically an alternative for gc harvesting. oh and boedha, breathe.

Um... The game is supposed to be hard. There are NPCs who sell essences, also an NPC who sells mercury if you want to mix them yourself. So IMVHO, cut the whining, and look for alternatives.

I worked my ass off to get to where I am, I'm not doing anything else but training and doing instances on tuesdays, and I don't spend money on ANYTHING but SRS, and am saving gcs for something. so tell me, is getting 20k a week from instances a good enough reward for that? ty for your understanding. As for punishment, it is totally up to community, that is, for doing something ill you might get banned from bots and not be traded with/totaly ignored. not much of a punishment, but still.

I'm sorry to repeat myself like a hundredth time, but wtf are you wasting your time for while you could get cols and high end gear yourself? You pk alts, that's ok, you want to live on them? I'm not so sure, there ain't that many players to do so. BUT I can see a good part in this too. once the server expands, I can see caves of harvestables being taken by guilds or alliances for some period of time at least, and guards standing to protect from lot like you.

No cooldown in fights? who gives a shit? white tiger stones ftw Somehow, even with the "ebul cooldown", people are still able to kill each other on a daily basis. Besides, the good old catch-when-someone-diss works fine too. You catch him, and the dude is still "wtf why can't i tele" and ends up in the UW. Even leonard, who has quite a few diss rings and healing potions on him, is killed pretty often and gives diss rings. So I ask you, if you can kill AI who has no cooldown, how much harder it is to kill an actual person who has to click the mouse and keyboard to escape a visit to Hades?

Many people already choose schools instead of mixing at sto for exp, especially for manu, so a definite yes to this day. To balance it out, there could be a negative day too, Day of No Schools: no experience given in schools, so unless you feel like wasting ingredients, don't mix at school today.

@Kharn: This was my reply to all "omfg we need to start a char from 0 on the pk server it takes time oh no!" I started my char by playing main server AND pk server at the same time, but eventually i quit main, when I got the levels i needed. So yes, your reply is based on bad reading, because what I said was meant for those starting a char, not those who play there for half a year already. @big: lol? "waiting for 1-4 people to search for where you train" is plain stupid. if you want to get pked, it's easy, just say so. if you want a good fight, however, get your levels first and stop bitching. but seriously, name "PK server" doesn't mean you actually have to pk everywhere and everytime. it's just like main, but with no cooldown and empty spaws, how cool is that?

what bkc said, and the PK server has a 100 a/d levels cap, so no uber strong people. @Kharn: some of the EL community have better reading skills than you. Nowhere in my post did I mention I am controlling more than 2 characters. FYI, I only play 1 character, and VERY rarely a harvesting alt.
