I have this problem and neither of the fixes work for me. There's also a "shadow bug" option that doesn't fix anything... EDIT: The arms and legs suddenly started working, but the Torso, capes, and Hats are all still white. I think I'll try re-installing.

Yeah I'm trying to log in from Missouri State University. I think it is the university blocking it, but they won't help me. I don't have any kind of income so I can't get Learner's proxy service. EL worked fine at my house, but does not work at the university. If it is them blocking me then I really have no way to fix it because they aren't cooperating. Is there no other way to fix this? I really want to play EL. I had this issue last year and gave up on trying because I couldn't fix it. I've seen that some other people have this same issue, but haven't seen how to fix it. When I start EL (everything is fine, no crashes) I type in my log in info and click log in but nothing happens. NOTHING, no errors or anything. If I don't push anything at the beginning I can see that it never actually connects and after a while I get the "Disconnected" message. I've pinged EL and other places and I get responses. Why can't I connect? Is my IP blocked or something? Please help! ^^'

When I start up EL, everything is fine except connecting to the server. It tries for a while and then gives the "disconnected" message. I can enter my information but it won't log in; like I said, disconnected . So, whats going on here? Can anyone help?

I like the idea of the stable, but I don't like the price for the weekly fee. Perhaps making the horse cost a lot more and the cost of maintaining it go down a lot more. I like the idea of it turning into a whistle when in teh stable or when you get off it. I really think just making the horse a one time, expensive buy would work well, and keeping a low maintenance fee would let a lot of gc exit the game. btw did the speed of horse get removed? I think this defeats the purpose for the horse, and makes it almost not worth all that gc it takes to keep it alive now ^^'
