After carefully reading this entire thread, and after many hours of self debate, I think Ill just pink tag you all.

they both have a point, when i was a newb (did i ever stop being one? ) i never even knew of the arena's existance, its out of the way.. EDIT: maybe change some of the unused tele pads on the map for a quicker arena-> storage, and boats->arena/storage(coming back from underworld) because compared to something like KF, or NCA, DPA is relatively out of the way.

A reset once a year (or what ever) could actually be quite interesting... This game isn't like other games, maybe that is why it might work. Perhaps to reward/compensate* players for everything they have achieved prior to each reset. *In a way that would not give them a large advantage in the new "reset" server. Such as, some flashy clothing[take tailoring skill out to make this 'valuable'] (we all know how vain EL players are). Unique mounts....unique items that enhance gameplay , pets? special random skills... the skys the limit.

I still don't get why people like you think, that the implementation would be sooo stupid, that you had to hop from map to map after every load or even more often ? @ the bolded part - From experience - we tend to expect it. From the last week or two alone: [Fails due to implementation that did not suit the players] Speedhax. Horses. [Almost]Pheonixes. Bulagiu(and mare) in invasions. Mine Dmg Vs Invasions. So ofc people will be worried exactly how something will be brought in.
