  1. teacher's dilemma

    Maybe another view: Firstly: Before any test I make summaries, usually scraps of paper that give me a quick refresh of the materal before the test. Before the test you pack away these things (obviously)...sometimes you put them in your bag, or throw them away, it's not even unthinkable that i will store them in my pockets. I see you call it a cheatsheet, but perhaps it was just his learning notes, stored away in pockets before the test. (personally)Another example of this is when we put our textbooks on the test closed and write a test. Simply having the answers in a closed book doesnt mean you will cheat and open it. Here one needs to look at policy. What is allowed. Are there rules saying that he should have no notes on him what so ever. (raytray/vanny mentioned this) (1) Yes there is a rule: Cheating (2) No there isn't a rule: You know he hasn't looked at the notes + notes are not forbidden so its fine to have them on him stored away. Secondly:(assuming option 2 above) Well I play with my hair, bite my pencils, hum, stick my hands in pockets, eat sweets...etc during tests, there is absolutely nothing wrong here, a hand does not have eyes on it, it cannot read what is in the pockets. Perhaps it is suspicious behaviour, or maybe its just nothing... SO: if there is no policy, he hadn't looked at the notes, you know he hadnt looked at the notes, and if there is nothing really proving his intent to look at the notes, THEN: I would not have done anything. For me there is no dilemma , its just a matter of looking what is allowed, and what isn't.
  2. User Menu's/Any window

    Right Click User Menu Toggle on Opaque Background Log Off Log On Setting isnt saved, Opaque Background is toggled off and must be 're-toggled' Guildie also said that this option wasn't "saved" for him too. I then went on to test inventory window + storage window...for me setting is not remembered and always reverts to non-opaque. Is this a bug or feature? References: It was mentioned here, but it wasnt the topic of discussion. When it was introduced by bluap. Opinion(probably belongs in suggestions, but it fits in nicely here): It would be nice to independly set windows opaque and non-opaque, with no general black and white setting of opaque'ness...and with that setting recorded/remembered in your personal settings.

    Yes feature request is much better name Anyway it's not a big deal, I only have user menu set to opaque background (on) and that is one click when I open my client. I just found it unsual for a setting not to be saved and thought I'd make a note of it. o/

    Well personally I prefer uncapped, because in this age of EL we have fighters/archers/mages/mixers/resets and goodness knows what else, i find that a/d can be a rather bad figure to use when grouping players(bad for players trying to have some fun and mods trying to set the difficulty for this broad range of people) Whereas uncapped gives you the right to be where you want, you dont have to worry "What map should i be in!!!~1" , and often try what you are comforatable with and sometimes attempt that which you don't ordinarily confront. Especially with C2 portals uncapped, with difficulty rising each army, its a game of risk Bs benefit, and fun Vs risk all at the same time. Exit and live safely, or carry on and maybe get some more riches with possibility of death increasing all the time.

  7. WIth relatively nice HP you can walk up to anyone and mine them in seconds. There is no defence against this.(other than the minimal defence armour gives + the higher damage in RC mines making it more effective). Increasing the reduction of damage that armour does would tend to make mines worthless, thats why a cooldown is a more balanced approach. Put a cooldown on placing mines. I think 2seconds is fine. Comment. Discuss.

    Maybe change the ingredient to an unused(or cheaper) enriched essence. Death/Water/Life.

  10. Packet loss to the moved server

    Everyone could not connect to the server for a few minutes earlier, guess it was this? If not, then we are still having the grue problems.

  16. Mines - Cooldown

    Warning is not useful, I know i personally cannot respond to the mine warning in less than a second. Which is all it takes to kill. The expense is not bad, its a few k-gc. Considering if I find someone wearing 1M worth of armour in TD, or any other map without a rosto, its a 100% kill if i can just engage and hold down 2 buttons. It doesnt hurt me to keep it this way, I dont mind killing people instantly

    If you try to harvest Dvarium without a tool, it doesnt say you need to equip one. To fix: Add the "You need to wear a Pickaxe in order to harvest this item!" sentence.

    With THIS post confirming your character name is the same as your account name...I think that means your levels were below 30. Unless there is some other factors that are taken into account when characters are deleted.
  21. Bag contents auto added to inventory

    It doesnt even have to be a timing issue from my experience. Drop a Bag Look inside it Close it. Press the get all button It picks the contents up, without opening it up and looking inside first Not sure if thats a bug either. I guess, the logic is, if you know what it is, and press get-all, you want to pic it up, not look inside. Not sure if this is what chr0nik is talking about.

  23. From this thread... In terms of experience, fighters earn the fastest exp/hr. In terms of gc, espcially high level fighters, they are high earners. With chance of NMT (probably a mixer/harvester's equivilent of a nexus stone) as a nice bonus. Intances + invasions are left out of your equation. I would say, at your levels, if you are not happy with the gc you are earning...you are doing something wrong. (attributes or training or some aspect of your game strategy) Now specifically to your points: Use a stronger weapon, kill them faster, less flee time, less HE/sr consumption. Personally i think the single spawns in ..Ida/meli/x3 RoT/GP are *enough*. Market channel has them for these prices, just be patient I think its fine..based on my experience with them. And lastly, it seems like you want to single train monsters alot, earn uber exp, and earn $$ at the same time. My advice: strap an OS to your hand and go wild, maybe its a bit less exp, but the GC flows will improve for sure. I also disagree with comment, because to some extent, resources are restricted by invasions, pk'ers, and the thing we all wish we had power over. Time. I'm a fighter. The ideas 1-4, would all benefit me. But I don't want them ingame
