    daxon, you never even gave the DISadvantages to crafting. there are so many books to read and it is the ONLY skill that needs 6 nexuses total. i think maybe rings should be harder to make, but to balance it out give a 20% chance to lose ring instead of 100% after it is used.

    So many books to read, wow. Maybe you never took a look at manufacturing books? Maybe not as many, but they are damn long to read so it makes up for the lesser number of them.

     

    And I agree; make the ring have a "multiple" use.

    Rules are clear enought and the same for everyone. Especially Learner was broadcasting several times to

    read them. I was always wondering how player with 9/9 p/c can make houndreds of water essences...alone.

    Maybe I got him confused with another, but I do know he had read the Rules because of prvious discussions. And its doesn't matter if the character was the guilds or not, it was still being used illegally.

    It had to be someone else. Makou isn't the kind of person you'd be ashamed to know.

    i agree with hazor on this one i like what the joker gives out it is more fun this way hoping for that steel shield and geting a "ember found Joker and recived a Potion of Feasting" ya some of the prizes suck but thats what happens when you get a random gift from a random guy like joker

     

     

    btw i wander if lyana will write a history for joker that would be interesting

    He gives you a weak random item, laughs at you (hence Joker) and disappears. :lol:

    I agree with gem sander and mercury. Summoning and crafting needs an advantage, and leather should

    cost twice as now. Rings dissapear it should be alot cheaper to make than now. And summoning is

    almost useless.

    The advantages?

     

    Summoning = summon a fluffy or chimeran wolf. Not advantage enough?

     

    Crafting = make very very useful medallions and rings.

     

    BTW, you only want gem sander and mercury to be cheaper because you use them. You want leather up so other manuers will level slower, allowing your friend Learner to stay as one of the top manuers and keep your market supplied.

    Well this idea would make the El community in an uproar but would really shift the game around to give everyone a chance to be a king. Each race gets different exp for doing certain things. Such as magic alchemy fighting and so on. The trick is each race also has a lifespan. Meaning like 30 years old of online time then your player stats get reset to zero and you start over kinda like a wipe. This would make the El community so different and let everyone have a chance at being king. Also if posible the person who is closest to the resetting age gets a tag behind there name saying like this Rya_Shazzaam King. This would make the game very exciting depending on your online time determines years meaning like 100 hours=1year or some formula.... well later lemme know some input

    ok ratz0rs started a pking guild that is a new pking guild now I have heard that ratz isnt the nicest person to ppl and a lot of ppl hate him but ratz is tight once u get to know him. So if u r a pker and u need a guild pm me (jewbean) or of course(ratz0rs) now in order to join u must be a good potion maker or have an att/def of 35-35 to join and we must be able to trust u guys to not be a set up.

    Ratz won't even answer me when I PM him. You have to be a little more appealing to get members lol.

    The main problem with that idea, Daxon, is that overall doesn't always reflect fighting ability. A pure fighter who has done nothing but fight and has a/d 30/30, for instance, could easily PK a harvester/manu character with the same OA level, but with a/d 3/3.

     

    Yes, the thing about lower levels attacking higher levels need to be accounted for.

     

    Spock, you're overestimating the effect of karma - remember, Ent said that if you do a bad action (like kill someone 20 lvls lower), your karma only MIGHT drop. And then, only by 1 point. Presumably, only those consistent evil characters will be affected. And, in all cases, the Altar allows you to reverse the effects of your karma, so I don't see why it would be that big a deal... High level fighters would presumably have enough extra equipment to sacrifice anyway.

     

    Ent, if you don't have any bad karma, would sacrificing at the Altar raise your POSITIVE karma by a point?

    Then instead of OA, it can take the attack, defense, physique, and coordination of both targets, average them, and use that as a level.

    Here is an idea I came up with:

    There will be an altar somewhere, where you can drop items in a bad. All the wearable items's cost (from that bag) will add together. When you click the use icon on the altar, you will have value_of_the_items chances in 10K to improve your karma by one.

     

    When you will do some bad things (such as PKing someone that is 20 levels lower than you, or other things, your karma MIGHT drop by one.

     

    The karma will act as a luck modifier, for a lot of things, such as manufacturing, chance to lose items when die, chance to hit, etc.

     

    This way the game will become more itneresting, and there will be a way to get rid of the items surplus in the game. So what do you think?

    To add on to it.. program it into the client where, depending on your OA, someone's OA appears to you in the colors: blue, green, white, orange, red.

     

    Blue = 20+ levels below

    Green = 6-19 levels below

    White = 5 levels up or below you (basically, they're at your same level)

    Orange = 6-19 levels above

    Red = 20+ levels above

     

    It'll prevent murdering your karma by accident and help you easily see how much stronger/weaker someone is to you (OA-wise).

     

    *EDIT* Also, to create a locked backdoor to this (for exploiting it), make it so if the lower level purposely walks in KF to attack a higher level, the lower level is held accountable and the higher level kills in self defense. No Karma loss.

    Tonight, was my best ngiht ever. Never once was i so rewarded in this game. A single period 10 minutes gave me more then a 1000 hours had done for me. A night at the troll spawn well spent.

     

    I went to grub for the troll spawn. The first troll dropper nothing, nada. The second troll dropepd me a bp cape, which was nice because I actually need a bp cape to complete my collection. I was pretty happy. The 3rd troll didn't drop anything but gold so i didn't think anything of it.

     

    The 4th troll drops me a tit chain, which are always nice. two drops in 5 trolls and nice ones, i decided to say something in market. Then the 5th drops a mm cape, that was also said in market. By now i am like omg this is unbelievable. nothing for trolls #6,7,8.

     

    Magic troll 9 drops another mm cape, that's two capes and a tit cahin within 10!!!! this is when i decided to hunt for awhile. Abotu 10 trolls later a garg summon, followed closely by a serp stone. Then later on two steel chains in a row!!!! Just before i left i also got 2 edger.

     

    Tongiht msut have been my night, this really makes em wanna play el somemore :P. And if nona ya'll believe me

    Well, i only think the gargoyles have gotten tougher because i can now beat a bear, and gargs get me to 15 after like 10 gargs straight (w/o sword), when i NEVER got hit before.. But just last week it was when i could pwn them, was there another server reset recently?

    I can't really say I've noticed them getting stronger, but a large gargoyle did manage to land 3 straight criticals on me in a row at 26 coord, 37 defense.

     

    Fishy to say the least.

    Ogres are magic creatures. Chimeras not drops wolf fur but wolf fur is used to summon them.

    Ogres comes from earth and fire so earth and fire essences are the best in recepture also earth

    essence could have, finally, some use.

    So you're saying the following are also summonable due to your ludicrous logic:

     

    Bugbears

    Revenants

    Wraiths

    Ghouls

    Vampires

    Grues

    Dragons

    Minotaurs

    Indentured Servants

     

    They're all magical and "from the earth," but none are made of it. BTW, just about all of these creatures are magical: goblin, cyclops, troll, orc. Explain a little further because you're not being clear enough in regards to ingredients.
