I am having problems with client. I was logged in yesterday afternoon, went afk and tried to come back late last night. I got disconnected figured I would just log in this morning. I log in but am unable to do anything(walk, change view, look at history), it crushes my machine and I end up having to altx(sometimes it lets me) or do a hard boot. Nothing has changed with my machine at all. No updates since yesterday. I get same result with official client as I do with my compiled one. Video drivers are up to date. I am running Ubuntu 9.10. I can provide logs if needed. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, phrank

2g ram and tried only running EL, thanks for trying though.

Ok I know this wont make me popular with the people who have decided to make channel 6 their home but I am just curious if I am alone in this. Since beginning play I think I have spent maybe 3hrs on channel 4. I personally don't care to watch people flirting or bragging about how easily they take feros this used to be channel 4 now it seems channel 6 has been opened for this. I have taken to turning off chanel 6 during daylight hours and only watch at night to follow the exploits of leonard. thanks, phrank

Have you the same problem with other games? You mean there are other games?!?! No I don't have this problem with other games. But I will do some further testing to see. My fps is capped at 40, but I seem to crash more when my fps are real low. In PV I'm usually around 3-4 fps with the sky view on, turning it off still has me crashing about every 5-15 minutes. It also seems to shut down more often when running mozilla concurrently. Anything else I should try?

Ok I read both threads on the pre rc and I don't see anyone else having the problem I'm having. First of all I'm now seeing floating heads. Its like the mesh for certain clothes is not installed. So I tried reinstalling game from official site, then loading the pre rc2. Still same. Its not all clothes just some. Also in inventory the new weapons arent visible ie. bows and arrows. I am also unable to get into the willowvine academy. Its as if I got transported into EL of the past like 3 or 4 months ago. Hope someone is able to help with this cause I'm at a loss.
