Importing custom map markings in Help Me Posted December 7, 2007 · Report reply Hi, I made quite a few markings on my maps in version 1.4 and I would like to import them into version 1.5. I am using Linux and can see that there are *.elm.txt files containing the comments in my .elc folder from v 1.4. I've tried copying these to the .elc folder for v 1.5 without any joy. A few people have commented that doing the above should solve the problem, but it has not done so for me. I would appreciate it if someone would post a working howto.
