Why not implement something like god factions or race factions that are ingame already? Just a thought. A good number of folks seem to be against the politics idea. Let's wait for Korrode's response.

I unzipped the data files and changed permissions for maps folder: chmod 777 maps After this it loads blank and shows Ip at the top with some fps.

Same as before. No Map. Restarts Xserver. basic_string::_S_construct NULL not valid I tried using wine and the EXe for windows and ./map.linux.bin. Not sure if it's important, I 64bit Ubuntu.

I like Ubuntu. I've tried Suse and openSuse. Some folks prefer rpm type distributions<Suse, Redhat, Fedora, Others> while others prefer Debian <Ubuntu, Debian, Others>. Ubuntu has new version coming out every six months. Whatever distribution you choose, I'm sure you'll be happier then with WindBlows. Linux Distribution list

What this is all about is Roja asking the community what they feel about the Bot situation. I have even commented on the amount of bots in NC and yes it is getting crowded but to ask the community if they would like the bots to go into segregated areas is a little extreme. The community is "speaking". Would you rather there were no discussion and Radu changed it, via the power of teh g0d? "He who has ears to hear, let him hear."
