Could you tell me which el.ini I need to edit? I run the cvs client and it's not saving my video view <isometric>. Each time I log in I have to change the view back to isometric. I've checked the data dir and both cvs and main point to /usr/share/games/el. Thanks in advance.

After a fresh install of Ubuntu 8.10 and running cvs, I no longer see att/def points per hit/dodge. I don't know how to fix, please advise.

It should not read packages, iirc. I've done a fresh install of 8.10 to get back playing el. I will wait for someone to fix the intel driver problem before I install 9.04 again.

Yep indeed a good idea. Already tried. Debian do not like the current licence. But I have persued getting the packages included in both distros. Ubuntu needs packaging. Not enough options. I didn't see a "I would pk if it were one on one and the death cost was nothing." I enjoyed a few rounds of pk once on NDD in Dp arena and NC cave. Both times were fun. No gang banging.

Hi, I was wondering if it'd be possible for the developers to raise the ingame food level. It would be a nice improvement for alchemists/manufacturers. Maybe a perk we could spend a combination of pickpoints and gold coin on? ex: 3 pickpoints and 10k Gc <just an example of one possible combination> Food level increase could be around 70-120. This would help the mages/fighters as well, for those with the FR perk/cape. Or maybe a Medallion of Feasting/Crown of feasting. Price would be comparable to MOL and COL's already in game. Any consideration is much appreciated. And any alternate suggestions.

Making gold coins in game to buy ingame resources isn't what I would call gold farming (well, technically it is). That's well... playing the game Making gold coins to sell for $$ is farming gold for real life profit, which is a bad thing. Or give the house a percentage...................just an Idea. I have rampant thoughts in my head most days. Ignore the ramblings if ya like. Or ponder them.

Nobody bothers with it. Why would this be any different? Folks don't play the lottery because it seems like the same ones win over and over and over again. If I buy 3 lottery tickets and don't win, I lose 15k gc I could've spent towards armor, a rosto, or weapons. I've played a few times and seen the results for over a year.

I tried to play Planeshift once. I couldn't get out the main room. Could not find the help channel to even ask how to get out. I like EL. A lot. My wife does too. I'd pay to play but I don't like the idea of the different color names. In cases ladder <spades> you couldn't tell the difference between a gold, platinum or diamond member by their avatars or colors. I voted yes for the experience, new p2p races, special items from the shop, ability to donate gold memberships, Wizzy's reset idea, less break rate, and a few others. There are alot of different ideas coming out. More funds for game development helps the game, doesn't it? I'm for it. I like EL. <I said it again.> It is only a game though folks. It is free to play, with perks if you pay for things. I've lost my train of thought............catch you all in game.
