Hi guys. I'm very pleasured to find Eternal Lands online after 15 years. I played from 2005 to 2008 more or less and spent a lot of hours in this game. I improved my english and I used it in next years for my work. I learned how to work in team and guild and a metodology for reach my objectives. Now, after years, I'm also in contact in real life with some of my old friends like Mitzky , Giove, Dendtrite and so on... Also when my father died I found online friendly guys fells me a little more well. This for me it wasn't only a game. Now I started to play again and show is to my child. He is very enthousiastic! I hope truly he can live similar experience than mine, leaving out the part about the father's death... But in past 15 years online game number is increased they are manteined from many people in medium or big companies and they lives with the support of a lot of advertising. This can smash games like Eternal Lands because this game is different. It is made from only one main programmer (@Entropy) built Eternal Lands with tears, efforts and hard coding. So a question take place in my mind. What is the Eternal Lands plan for the future? I saw also these forums are without recent posts. I can immagine that @Entropy and friends may be discouraged and may be he and his develoer friends could think to abandone EL and turn of the server forever I think this could be a very sad and hugly action and this will stop the world of each player. So, if it is possible, I would to know what will be of Eternal lands in future. Thanks for the fedback. Skelos (ingame name)

Hi all. Today I try to login in EL and nothing happened. I would know If I was banned (and if it possible why). Otherwise I think may be a network/EL client problem. I'm sorry if my request cause you lost time but I can't test EL on other PC/Operating system/network. Thank you. Skelos.

Hi all, I have a question. I hope that this question is correct to ask because my problem is know a part of EL code. Giving up. The file esists and in my browser I can see it. With wget command under ubuntu 10.04 I got it end the download is successfull completed. I tried also to make the same server file structure in my local PC and it works fine: all meshes are copied in correct folders. It is possible know how EL client download the file? I suppose EL don't use wget because I tryied it and it works fine.

It would be nice if some maps animals could grow and evolve during the fight. For example, with a 5% chance, a green snake could become a Sslessar and disappear at the end of combat (in case of death of the player) do to avoid damage to other players.

The evolution would be restricted to animals only a few maps, and may be at night. This would not be a criterion for all animals. And Just for NOT instance creatures...
