That most likely included the last several times in which I was attempting to adjust the settings in hope of resolving the issue.

I've recently returned from an urgent situation that required my attention. I've not had time until this point to return my attention to the game. I did log on a couple times, before the release, though upon my return and download of the new release, presently notice the issues.

(265 mb) gforce nvidia 6200 I have tried several quality setting through the nvidia control panel and had no improvement. The chat and all other text has the same appearance. Also, it seems I can not pull up any maps. I've looked through and couldn't find anything related to my current problem. Approximately one hour ago, while mining, and chatting, the game stopped responding. I've tried to re-open EL several times since, but cannot connect to server. I gave it some time, figuring it may have just been a server crash, but no one else has seemed to mention it. Am I the only one having this problem, or... ? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I have tried connecting to the test server as well. I have also tried running the shader, and it on the test server. I uninstalled (& yes, the mydocs folder also) & reinstalled the game, and had no success reconnecting. Any all other programs I have that connect to the internet have no difficulty. ....any thoughts/suggestions here?

I noticed while looking through the new encyclopedia data, that the picture/icon used for the recurve bow, is the same as the one used for the long bow, and not the actual recurve icon.

I did find one server not responding (not the same as mentionde above) I did however, and unfortunately, find several erratic connections. I will do what I can in the meantime, and try to keep this thread up to date. Tyvm for your input.

My re-install was after the previous connection attempts. No change in operation before or after.... so far. Also just tried network connections & scans. Everything passed fine.

I did swap monitors, though I had been playing for several hours with no problem at all after.

Slightly faster

win xp sp2 933 pII 384 ram 265mb gforce nvidia ----------------------- Opened up two instances. Got great lag with them both, and re synced a couple times. When bringing both to IP, I experienced black screen and some local chat, but graphics never loaded. Both char got grued twice. ------------------------ Closed both char, & attempted to re log. Ran with some lag with one char.

I've noticed in 3 races so far, an issue with cloaks (all). This effect does not seem present in the smaller races, dwarf & below. I have not come across any other tall races yet, to see, but I would assume the same issue. Shoulders slightly show through cloaks.

Experiencing same odd effect as in previous versions, noted here: Old & New This time, it was not a school or room that caused it. It started immediately after a nearby player used restore spell, in the open.

I have recently acquired and begun research on all three land mines. I'm not sure if it's a bug, or the relevant scripting hasn't been done, but; I went through small mines fine, same as any other book. When I started researching medium mines, it began as normal, although the statistics-> Knowledge tab says researching nothing, and no counter is shown either. The #research command does however work. I have not started on high explosives yet, but have the book with me & shall report any like behavior. [EDIT] Same issue with high explosive. #research works, know tab has blank meter & says researching nothing.

I've the same result: XP SP2 930mhz PIII/ 384MB (will soon be upgrading to IBM 6x86 2gb & will retest) nvidia gforce 6200 Performance wise, no decipherable difference other than the char brightness & contrast: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [EDIT] I as well noticed this alteration in the midst of wondering: The name, hps, heath, appear at a fixed level below the creature. About the same hight as a ground creature, such as a raccoon. Falcons have the same oddity. This effect also makes the targets difficult to engage, since it's actual positioning is in the correct location (below the tag). ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [EDIT] Another 'tag' issue: Tags do not fall when creatures meet their demise.
