  1. make leveling up easier please!!!!

What difference does it make what your post level is? Who really gives a damn besides killerlamb and jjk?
  2. This has allready been suggested, dragons are nearly impossible at the moment unless Roja did just the head and neck sticking out of a cave, that's all.
  3. Vote for EL at http://www.mpogd.com *snicker*
  4. I forget the name of the mod that locked it but I had slayton delete all of the spam, flames, and off topic rambling. Side note, I'm working out the kinks for the rest of the initiation quest. Will be put up soon!
  5. Saddam Hussein...

Well what it all boils down to is this: one goon off of the list, tons more to go.
  6. Sea Travel

Excellent idea, however, it'd probably be months and months until that were possible but it would so kick ass...
  7. Avatars

Its a box with an X wow how kick ass!
  8. New Area

Rune Scape aren't the trailblazers of the mmorpg world, tons of games have had the same thing if not better before rune scape was even a thought. To be honest there are not many original ideas left in the gaming world, no good ones atleast.
  9. I get that sometimes when entering the titanium mine.
  10. Avatars

Yep, made mine today, its © ME BIACH!
  11. NO CLUE!

ALL of those have been suggested, read around the forums some before suggesting something.
  12. Rgarding the recent crashes

    Ah! Domo Entropy son!
  13. Patron + Vassels

Not a great idea, its basicly newbie sponsoring, most people have worked their asses off for every gold they have, one way or another.
  14. X_CLAN

This is another guild made by a n00b who's trying to get rich. Who in their right fucking mind would pay someone to be in their clan, that's just retarded. The whole concept sucks.
  15. Rgarding the recent crashes

I crash whenever attempting to trade items and I get like a 10 second delay between actions when around other players. It seems to happen at random because sometimes I get no lag and good FPS, others I have to wait up to 10 seconds before doing anything. Same map, same time periods so it isn't night/day/rain causing it. I have the most recent EL files that are public.
  16. Oh yeah...

Raccons? Beavers? Badgars? Wolverines? Feral Cats? Wild dogs? Hippos? XD
  17. Saddam Hussein...

We should get a dunking booth with leeches in it...
  18. New monster ideas

An idea for the dragon would be that it doesn't really die, another one respawns right after it dies right? So it'd be like knocking out a dragon, which only high levels could do anyways.
  19. Using the boat's

Good idea, realistic, but unlikely at this point in time... unfortunately.
  20. [The acolyte of neutrality would probably be found in a temple at Isla Prima, I’ve got a few design ideas for the temple and other things mentioned in this long ass quest] 1. Acolyte of Neutrality: Greetings Galahadh, if you seek enlightenment then you have come to the right place... I am the Acolyte of Neutrality. My duty is to assist those that seek out enlightenment through worship of the gods. 1a. How do you know my name you old cook?! Acolyte: The Acolyte of Neutrality knows all... return when you’ve gained some respect. [player is sent to the wraith =P] 1b. Player: Tell me acolyte, how can I gain enlightenment, how do I worship a god? Acolyte: The task is simple yet it requires much patience... do you feel up for it young adventurer? 2a. I am ready Acolyte, tell me what I must do! Acolyte: *the old acolyte smiles at you* Very well... I will send you now to the library of the ancients... the location is secret, this place is sacred to the gods and the elders alike... disrespect it and you shall suffer. You will need this to be able to read the ancient texts. *hands you a small stone with a crimson octogram on it* Walk to the center of the library and into the portal when you are through, call upon each god after reading the scrolls located on the alters by holding up the stone and calling out their name. Once you have gathered information about every god and return to me I will tell you where to go. *a bright light appears as you are teleported to the library of the ancients.* ----- Player is teleported to a cave like room with an octogram on the floor, at each point lies a pedestal with an old tome/scroll on top of it, each one giving off a soft purple light Player can start at any point and work his or her way around until all are read and each god addressed. In the center of the octogram is a teleporter that brings the player back to the Acolyte of Neutrality. The following is the text contained in each tome/scroll and the reply from the god starting from the north-most 12 o’clock position and working clockwise until all points with scrolls have been reached and read. ----- Player uses the look feature on the north most scroll. *A gentle yellow light is given off by both the top gem on the stone indicating the current progress, the glyphs of the ancient scroll also glow yellow and reform into your familiar language.* The scroll reads: Aluwen, goddess of compassion, love, and all that is just and right she stands for the quickly fading good that is left in the world. She preaches equality, fairness and love to all who follow her ways. Benevolent at times she may be, lacking foresight and always trusting she can be mislead easily. Woe be unto thee who dare try her power... *the alter to your right glows red, an evil cackle can be heard throughout the library* In her loneliness her and the other ancient gods created intelligent life on Isla Prima, allowing them to build as they pleased. However all was not well in the land of the gods, in a jealous rage Mortos plagued life on the planet with evil thoughts, greed, hate, fear, and lust. Actions on the planet reflected those in the land of the gods, Mortos deceived Aluwen where he took advantage of her benevolence.. some time later a bastard son was born; Glydoc. [instead of “more†use “Unroll the scroll moreâ€] Aluwen’s purity of mind and body was taken from her that day, she swore revenge to Mortos. As Glydoc grew older, wiser, and stronger he realized the error of his father’s ways and began to train to become one of the most powerful warriors ever to have life. The strength and good will of her son pleased her, naturally she allied herself to him. The very spirit of the earth cried out at the atrocities above, Gaia pleaded for peace but none was found for Mortos’ greed and lust could not be quenched. Seeing the evil that was Mortos, Gaia turned to Aluwen in an attempt to find comfort in these trying times. For the moment the spirit of the earth personified, Gaia, was content. [instead of “more†use “Unroll the scroll moreâ€] The trinity of Aluwen consisted of Aluwen, Glydoc, and Gaia. Aluwen’s enemies are Mortos and Selain. Selain was an enemy of Aluwen for greatly assisting Mortos in his evil ways... continue your quest for knowledge by advancing to the pedestal to your right adventurer. ----- At the moment I’m tired as hell and I’ll continue the rest soon, the first scroll is so long because its basically the introduction and all that great shit... I know this quest is long but it is worth it and can be continued at any time. If implemented I ask that the library of the ancients be available at any time for one to refer to it for more information, the stone being a permanent item. I’ll write more and most likely revise it... the library of the ancients should be available at every god’s temple, it could also serve as a warp place if a portal was placed behind each pedestal to warp to any temple. More to come later!!!
  21. New monster ideas

You mean just like its head sticking out of the cave and the rest of its body in darkness? That'd be sweet! Just like its head and neck sticking out, it'd be easy to model too. Say about five or six segments for the neck and one larger one for the head. It could bite or breathe fire, the fire would be harder to do...
  22. Name Changes -------------------------------------- Human -> Social/Interaction Animal -> Critical Attack Vegetal -> Diet Inorganic -> Motherload Artificial -> Equipment mastery Magic -> Magic -------------------------------------- One nexus point would be awarded to the player after completing X ammount of quests. This point could be used in any nexus they wanted with a total of five points per nexus. -------------------------------------- "The gods granted those bound to serve with a sort of sixth sence... the Nexus." -------------------------------------- Human -> Social/Interaction = Each nexus point would equal a 5% discount on all sale prices and a 5% increase in sale prices (Maximum of 25%, would over-ride the regional discount and counteract regional inflation based on the enemy of that god's range) Animal -> Critical Attack = 5% chance to critically attack the target for every point given. Vegetal -> Diet = Increased the maximum food level by (five or ten) Inorganic -> Motherload = (#)% chance of harvesting multiple resources per attempt. Artificial -> Equipment mastery = (#)% chance for a blow to completely miss you, equipment weighs less when worn. Magic -> Magic = Increased EXP gained per cast/increased effectiveness or duration/mana regeneration (one or a combination of the above)
  23. You might be asking yourself... what in the name of all that is holy is this? Well... its a diagram showing every god in relation to the other. I am abandoning the idea of "starting religions" INSTEAD one would join a religion by going to one of the temples. There would be eight temples in all. The main god one follows would determine what enemies one has. EXAMPLE: Galahadh has joined the Trinity of Aluwen! Galahadh would have five faith points to dole out between defense, combat, and harvesting. HOWEVER! Galahadh loses a certain percentage gained by attack and potions. The reason for disadvantages would be to make the game more realistic as far as the gods are concerned. Would Mortos give Galahadh the same exp for attack that he would his own followers and the ones that are not in a dispute between Mortos and Aluwen? Nope. ***Note*** Note, I will be changing the story behind each god slightly and writing a story based on the setting of EL and what I have so far. PLEASE give me some feed back, if it isn't in favor of this idea don't let it become a flame but instead make it constructive and offer an idea to alter it slightly.[/img]
  24. Cloak of Aluwen (Defense): +(3-5) Defense. Cost: 120k At Aluwen's Temple. (Yellow) -------------------------------------------- Cloak of Mortos (Attack): +(3-5) Attack. Cost: 100k at Mortos' Temple. (Red) -------------------------------------------- Cloak of Glydoc (Combat): Same as combat cloak. -------------------------------------------- Cloak of Gaia: Same as harvesting cloak, would be purchased at Gaia's temple. -------------------------------------------- Cloak of Glilin (Manu.): EXP bonus for manufacturing. Cost: 80k at Glilin's Temple. (Black) -------------------------------------------- Cloak of Unolas (Magic): Same as magic cloak, would be purchased at Unolas' Temple. -------------------------------------------- Cloak of Selain (Potions): EXP bonus for potions/and/or increased potion effect (Or keep current effect). Cost: 90k at Selain's Temple. (Gray) -------------------------------------------- Cloak of Elandria (Alchemy): Same as Alchemest's cloak, would be purchased at Elandria's Temple. I heard a rumor about higher level cloaks as well, these could have an emblem of the god on the back with increased bonuses.
  25. Religious Hierarchy: For now this will be controlled by Entropy/other admins. Later once things are ironed out there will be a form of electing priests. Priests: They have the power to excommunicate someone from their faith. (and only theirs, faith points will be removed and lost until the former worshipper changes religion or comes back to the faith after three weeks.) All faith points attributed to the god of that faith will be lost, if three priests of a trinity come together, one from each, they will have the power to mark someone as a heretic. This will make it so that the player excommunicated for whatever reason will lose all faith points given to the skills and be unable to return to the faith for three real life weeks. They can however join another faith or a new trinity after just one. For now the Priests would be carefully selected by Entropy so religion wasn't a bias popularity war. Leaving your faith/Joining another/Faith Points: You will be able to leave your faith or trinity at any time. You must stay within the said faith or trinity for atlas one week before leaving, upon leaving you lose ALL faith points. You only get them back after joining another faith or trinity. Faith points are basically the god's gift to their followers. When implemented each character will have five points to distribute between skills based on their race (as race determines your starting religion). After one week you can "shift faith" which allows you to switch your faith points between skills. Another addition with this religious system could be discounts based on faith. Say the Temple of Gaia was located in tree town, if you bought something from a store in tree town you would get a (#)%discount for every faith point attributed to Harvesting. The same would apply for all gods. Just a quick idea that I talked about in game with some other people. Note: The shifting of faith and switching faith has a one week buffer to help avoid abuse by players.
