It takes a few seconds for me to switch cursor type, so I'm either using goblins, opening skeletons, picking up doorways or attacking vials... on occasions it can become quite irritating with crowded hunting spots such as the titanium mines and the gold mines. This problem occurs on all three computers that I have. It slows down game play (not fps loss or "lagg" but actual speed that I preform tasks at) a lot and can even be fatal when trying to flee from gargoyles when making trips to desert pines from isla prima. This is the only complaint I have about EL itself, other than that its a great game (which is getting progressively better) with a great community. It would just be a lot of help if we were offered an alternate download or patch of the el.exe that doesn't have this problem. I don't want to come across as whining but it does get frustrating at times to have to wait sometimes up to five seconds between actions, even more so in combat.

That wouldn't be right in my opinion, I think its good that they don't accept perishables. Wine I could understand because that is something that can be stored for years and it only gets better... but throw some veggies in the bank and pull 'em out a month later? Nah..

Both of these have been suggested numerous times.

A problem with the random winners, people can easily create another character or another forum name and send the answer to you to flood the box and increase their odds of winning.

I use it when hunting so I don't get the cursor problem, otherwise hunting is just very frustrating and I wind up quitting because it isn't fun any more :-p

Thanks, for the moment I'm using the beta proveded here http://caop2.pytong.com/~eternal/el_000_920.zip without any patches or anything like that, just the file itself. I get no crashes, decent FPS, but its a bit jerky, still better than the slow mouse read or whatever it was with the patched version.

So it wouldn't be a boost it'd be a reduction of requirement to do something? Like a perminant potion of (x)? I like it... I'd like to help with the actual writing behind the gods themselves and perhaps some quests, if you're looking for help that is.

True Jevik, but once you left the faith what would you have to show if there was just a momentary level bonus? Not a damn thing :-p With the EXP bonus you'd have that extra exp gained forever, but again this could lead to people using religion and such just to get their character stronger without taking the story into consideration let alone any setting, plot or role playing.

EXP would be better in the long run but there would be people who would abuse that, either way has its own pros and cons. Hmm, looks like I shouldn't worry about finishing my story or the quest I was working on, oh well. =P

Some others had a similar complaint and retired from combat and other things to focus on a repetative task to keep them busy until they adjust to it or it changes, I heard that it was originally done to increase game performance but I've only noticed a loss. (Or maybe it was just frustration from the cursor :-p) No help? ;.;

Why crus? So you can hunt them and get exp? :-p What about really weak as far as MP goesso it'd be like 2-3 hits max on 'em but make like 5 of them in one area. It'd be fun. God I still can't get the visualizations out of my minds and the little banshee screams lmao
