  1. you miss the point, only yeti trainers can make decent gc... any other monster cant get you where you want to go... biggest struggle for the 120 a/d people who are useful in PK but very hard to make gc training
  2. I do understand where your coming from, but if your breaking a lot of armors, lossing a lot of rostos and burning through srs/he you probably should not be trainning yeti. On the other hand, the after fluffy choices for trainnning are not that great, I understand your want to get to yeti as fast as possible. Though I really cant comment, as I have not yet been able to try the chims since the changes where made. However, I still think you would make decent profit with augmented set, and a tit long on a fluff spawn/hour, just get a guildie to come collect those inv/acc/invs pots from time to time And yes, the experince you will get per hour will really suck thats the point in this game, you sacrifice experince for money. And that is pretty much the same in all skills in game, except harvesting. Hmm wizzy, i dont know how long youve played this game but its irrelevent, anyways, you shouldnt lose gc from training, and not make too much profit, there must be a good balance, plus fluffies may be good for you to supply for leather armor or iron set or whatever, but for higher levels if you break the armor (probably titanium set COL + rosts) it is not a good idea to serp fluffies..... plus to get back the gc from dying once, takes hours of harvesting... instead of resupplying it with training
  3. it depends also... lets say if we do get a huigher drop rate, lets say double (it probably wont happen) and yeti remains the same, people would get more profit from killing feros in feros cave getting 60gc per feros, so high levels would slay them for cheap gc, so if we increase one we must increase the other

Sqwurl Yes its a big problem, i mean what fighter would say its easy to get 500kgc for some good PK gear? well its definetly not easy if you are trying to harvest that... would take a very long time, and people that dont have good armor tend also not to PK as much because they feel useless... however with buying $70 worth of gc bang! a ice dragon set is yours... easy, cheap and saves months of your LIFE. and for someone who works, that amount of money is nothing... I am not saying it should double gc rates or triple, but we need to increase it, it wont only give fighters more fun but also manuers/achers more to mix since more people will be buying armor/essences. We should experiment with drop rates in my opinion, the only way you can make good money now is on yetis, and only 2% of EL can do that
  5. Good evening Eternal Lands Today i would like to post an idea i've had in my mind for a few days and I think it might be a good one to make PK more intense and enjoyable. First of all I'd like to say there are many parts of the day where there is no activity at all in KF (and other PK maps) and people do go in to visit in order to look for someone to fight... but leave if noone is there My idea is that we make "PK hours" lets say we have 1-2 hours every EL ingame Day that is open for PK in KF, if its not that hour we may not PK, and when the hour finally comes players can finaly get in there and have fun in KF... What this will do is instead of having 1-2 people in KF at the tiome the tension builds up and people stack up outside KF waiting for the hour and when it comes huge and fun wars begin... (hopefully) Ofcourse this idea isnt thought about perfectly but I think it is a good one... there could also be PK hours for those lower levels too if it makes it better, but limiting the time allowed to PK i think ould increase it... since everyone will be there and thats what people want while PKing right? So please discuss this idea and i will be glad to read your replies. Regards Her0
  6. its not about reaching the top quickly its about having fun while you do so, entropy has done a great job with the game, few people that play other games dedicate so much time to the same game as EL players. But i know that theres always endless things to add, this imo is a biggy.

  8. Are you saying since alching and mixing is boring and because of that EL shouldnt make fighting better? i disagree. Besides there can be few i provements to mixing but not much... at all, maybe some special effects? doesnt mean fighting cant improve!
  9. It wont make it easier, maybe you will get more exp for the amount of time, but you will be spending 4 times as much healing ingreds, and would cost 4 times as much... besides its alot more fun. and your idea of existing low monsters getting same a/d and more health is good.
  10. I couldnt find any similar ideas, sorry if it allready exists... Many if not all players would somehow want training to be more interesting and include more action. What ive heard most fighters say is "Im tired of killing one bunny for 20 hours to get one level" people dont make use of most monsters in EL, therefore people would suggest: Having a small map or cave filled with monsters from the same a/d range without ignore level. This would make the player kill many more different monsters and gain the same xp, or maybe more. you wouldnt be sleepy while you fight, you would focus on healing and have other strategies not to die. for instance having 10 feros 7 fluffys and 5 desert chims in a relatively small cave. or a huge amount of yetis, Monster chimmies cockatrices and sslesars in one cave. also to make use of more monsters make more edit unseen or unused monsters a/d. Would it work? yes Is it ALOT more fun? yes Will you get more drops from monsters and make fighters the richest? There should be no drop since many monsters are killed could produce bag spamming. But top lvls will just be killing feros all day to get easy xp without healing! - no i would suggest like in instances to have level limits for different caves. Isnt it the same as instances? No its for training purpose, the monsters would keep respawning and you would get more xp in shorter time but alot more expensive and too much more fun! In my and many others opinion.
