Well, generally new players can't afford the cloak. So either make the cloak *much* more common, or keep the MM perk in. Either that, or do what Alderan said. I kinda liked the old system, and with a bit of improvement (Nexuses actually have a use, you need more than just gc and beaver furs) it would be much better than the PP one.

I haven't been able to connect to EL (Either the main server or the test server) for a few days, I've already tried replacing the server name line with #host 62.93.225.26, and I've tried shutting down my firewalls. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Don't know the ISP, and the network admins are very hard to get in touch with. EDIT: Oh yeah, and I could play before.
