Well no idea how other poeople do it, but if i find out, that somebody buys things from my bot for a banned person, I ban also the one who bought the things ... [sarcasm]and that's very easy to find out[/sarcasm]

Hey guys lets repeat the same good ideas, eventually they might get considered.

Speaking as a person who is bot banned from many bots, it makes no difference to me. If I want something from a bot that i'm banned from, i can either get it from another bot for the same price, or a friend will get me from the banned bot It's more so people can take moral highground, and can comment "Banned from my bots!!!"

Yes you pk'd more than him, and mostly you just died. If you really thing that the PK system couldn't be improved, then i feel sorry for you I guess.

lol, many other people go to invances wearing armor/weaps for break quest (maybe a third or so in 120+), and i'm sure orick was being more helpful than most of the people in the invance...

Considering how few changes were made to the PK server, hoping for another serve/massive changes to the PK server is a bit of a pipe dream. Obviously would be nice though, many things that EL could benefit from are probably too fundamental to be changed without a wipe/new server.

Hello guys! I am posting on behalf of my good friend Frost, who has killed all the spawns of Giants in AA for the vanquisher quest, but has received no pop up to indicate he killed the right one. Before anyone asks he is sure he killed all of them, and they were killed in combat, so should count for the purposes of the quest. Twice he's been back to Novac to check he had received the orders, and to see if he could continue with the quest, but nothing has changed. He believes this is because the quest was originally given to him back before the giant spawns were shifted last year, and so the giant he's being ordered to kill may not exist anymore. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers

Yes, he was issued the quest to kill the giant BEFORE the spawns changed, and has since tried to continue the quest.

I would if significant changes were made to the game, that could best be made with a wipe

with taxes on gcs trades, black market could adapt to selling items instead, harv alts would just sell their iron for $$, instead of selling them for gcs, and the gcs for $$. And for those buying mass amounts of gcs, losing some to tax is no real issue. Would make very little difference other than annoying everyone. Would probably punish the average player more than the gc sellers/buyers.

You guys are missing my point I fear, according to Frost he DID harm all the spawns, and then only kill the injured ones. But NONE of them gave him the message.

Price barely matters in the age of gc sellers etc. When I said remove brod I meant remove GSM as well. It isn't at all similair to axe of freezing etc. The brod has the capability to destroy months of hard work in one hit, that's why it's bad. People who may PK fear it, and don't PK because of it. I've never ever seen a MMO with a weapon like the BroD, for very good reasons His char is super strong by abusing a stupid system, of course he should fuck you over. Using a stronger halberd will still do so much less than a bronze sword+FA in the current system... And what's funny about a radioactive OS?

Ok a list of possible changes: -Reduce bronze sword damage, perhaps other stats too -No benefit to having arrow on back, that's truly ridiculous -Cooldown on mines -Summoning: A few things can be done. I would suggest you tone down the big summons (ACW etc.), they're very overpowered. Instead, summoners get the role of cheap, but useful summons that have special attacks (that have a change to bypass MI proportional to summoning level/charm), more similair to the tank rabbit that is already implemented. Add restrictions on summon stones related to summon level. Add an easier summoning interface, not the mixing window. Additional effects could include special types of damage (heat,cold rad etc.), small life drains, etc. -Mages: I'd suggest removing MI spell, buffing Mag Protection spell a LOT, and making harm/md much weaker, buffing warlock capes. Equipment for mages similair-ish to Wizzy's suggestion. More useful spells would be helpful too. -Remove special weapons/armors (OsoMN etc.), forgot to mention in last post, these are really overpowered though. -Remove cotu effect from mage robe skirt, probs remove BroD too -Give steel/tit armors some sort of PK bonuses, offering more gear selection strategy -Reduce armor bonuses from dragon armours, or offer more weapons like rad rapiers for other great swords i guess -A no drop arena where you can only attack within a certain CL or a/d range below you -Maybe slightly increase halberd's damage, make halberd the most powerful weapon in terms of damage, but you have to face the consequences of being two handed and having -acc and -def There's a few of the basic ones

Lots of very good ideas have been suggested before, and people saying stupid things on this thread won't change anything. Let's list a few things that are wrong/inbalanced with PK: -Bombs -Ranging -Mages, superawomse if no MI, useless otherwise -Summoners, less overpowered version of engineering, can buy kills with acw -Bronze sword -FA on back -High cost of PK -Too small community with too many allies for each guild -No punishment for stronger players picking on much weaker ones in KF, so no places for lower levels to pk -Great swords do barely any damage against dragon armors -Cost of death in drop areas Mage vs. Fighter etc. And Drty, you have no idea what you are talking about, please stop

Radu's publicly said before that he doesn't want to improve PK, i could write an essay on it, but just accept that it is the way it is (horribly unbalanced etc.)
