Running ubuntu fiesty. When double clicking the x86_64 bin in the file browser nothing happened so tried in term and got this detrak@detrak-desktop:~/el_install$ ./el.x86_64.linux.bin bash: ./el.x86_64.linux.bin: cannot execute binary file detrak@detrak-desktop:~/el_install$

While loading EL I got this error on my laptop Counldn't find the GL_EXT_framebuffer_object extension, not using it... can log in to game. But missing ALOT of scenery. Not sure if its because of that error or not. Am in DP atm in game at the cotton field and only seeing parts of the fence.

Thank you both for replying. I had done as suggested and removed platform and it compiled fine, will retry with PLATFORM=-march=k8 As you suggested. Thank you again!

Ok I was going through the thread about how to install from cvs, when i did the makefile I got this 2d_objects.c:1: error: CPU you selected does not support x86-64 instruction set make: *** [2d_objects.o] Error 1 Btw Had already edited the make.conf and make.default to unhash the 64bit option. Was there something that I missed? Thanks for the help. Sorry should have posted my specs. Running a AMD 64 4000+, 1gig ram, nvidia geforce 6100 pcie.
