Ok, since i have found this is totally random and Armors and swords has WAY to much importance as it like never breaks, i'd like to suggest this system that i have seen work in other games: Item Quality: Very Bad: Prone to break, very weak. Is of rather bad quality to do anything. Bad: Not as prone to break, but still flimsy in the sense. It is still a bad weapon/armor to use, as it is weak, but it will protect you a little Good: A decent armor/weapon, less of a chance to break, will protect/attack your body(or theirs) good enough to rely on it. it is moderate in power/defense Very Good:A Great peice of weaponry/armor, Deals damage well and protects you enough to rely on it enough to save your life. It is not prone to break often. Exellent: All around Awesome armor/weapon, this leads to very rarley does it break, it has incredibly high attack/defense and it is a elequent peice of work, very beautiful. Now a degrading system more...in depth so to say Item Degrading: Rotting: Prone to break any second. it smells and it is dificult to hold as it incaves as you hold it(removes alot of strength, will probably break in 3-4 hits) Old: Still prone to break, but it holds firm in your hand(removes more strength) Used: A decent item, it can break, but not prone(removes strength) New: It is rather difficult to break a new item if it's quality is even moderate(adds strength) The Quality and status of the weapon depends on the Craftyship of the Smith, thus a Master smith can make Exelent new items somewhat, but a lower smith makes very bad used/old/rotting ones. This is just a way to keep the money flowing in the economy and allow Armor to not become such a permanant and a "life line" with fighters. Late ~*Yoshi*~

He darts for the shadows silently and watches them climb up into the Castle. Following the shadowed wall, he walks silently, carefull not to make any noise, He looks for any entrance he could possibly use, anything that could get him inside. He sees a lower part of the roof than any other part of the castle, and near enough to the wall that he could make the jump. With lightning quick reflexes and incredibly fast foot work, he scales the wall and does a back flip onto the lower ledge. "Now the fun begins.." says the Assasin and walks inside through the means of a unlocked window. Reaching the area called Palon Verdas Aokan slows down from his run. Jumping up into a tree once more he climbs to the top to get a look for his area. He sees a certain House that catches his attention. He jumps down from the tree and moves closer. seeing guards moving about, he jumps into the trees to watch their movements in secrecy, to memorize the movements of the guards. Maybe this he could call his home perhaps.

Ok before i rip your head off for totaly ignoring the points. Lets go into a Role Playing part since this is a RPG... 1. A thief is a Perfectly legal job profession. But you MUST say that you stole from them. ((eg: ;leans down while running and snatches up the bag)). In this sense, you are just adding to the Role Play. So sthu. 2. There are ways to immobilize someone even if they arn't on a pk map, use your head. Also, this is just not a good idea. For one, someone could lay a bag with a trap before they die to save their stuff. Also, you are looking to get the easy way out, or power gamming. But imho this gameis all PG'ing cept for a few things.. Aisy and Learner make good points. 1. It would be too easy to get your stuff back, if you die should you get your stuff back? no it's free game. But some people are nice like me and dont care whats in it and just wait for the person to come back. 2.It wouldn't be fair to the other Players if you could set traps on a pk map with just one apple in it, it just isnt logical. 3. The mods and dev's have enough work on their hands. Even the non-dev teams like Quest/Map/Story/Event teams have alot of work to do. 4.There is a suggestion forum.... this ends my rant for now

A Elf cloaked in blue and wearing Strong, but light armor, stalks behind his Fellow Wanderer Tumaros, to not allow him to see him. Aokan moves silently from tree to tree following Tumaros from the tree branches. His face covered by the cloak, one would not notice his presence in the dark even if they looked at him. As he approaches the docks he hears a arrow shoot with precise aim only Tumaros could supply. He smiles as he knew his friend would accompany him on his voyage. As he approaches the Lamp on the docks he mutters some words under his breath and the flame goes out. He scurries along the tree branches to get closer to the Ship. A slight rustle in the night draws his attention as he sees Tumaros run up upon the ship and chuckles silently. "My friend..use better tactics next time." Aokan jumps down from the branches into a large crate of apples. He moves himself down into the bottom of the crate under the apples. and mutters.
