I'm not much of a summoner... Only level 18 at the moment. However, something like this may give me cause to start leveling again! Here's one idea: It might be cool to have it increase a LOWER amount for each level, but either endlessly or nearly so... The trick would be finding the correct ratio, so creatures summoned by an extremely high level summoner wouldn't be IMPOSSIBLE to kill, just a LOT harder. Imagine how strong Rabbits and Rats would be when summoned by a level 100 Summoner.

I voted for Fixing existing things up, but I would also love to see new clothes, another playable race(Yes, I read the previous posts on that.), and more regular creatures.

Both my brother and I took it when we were new to the game. He had more trouble with it than I did(That's normal. Lol), but if I recall correctly, the Tavern part was the most confusing in both our cases.

I don't know if I could ever name all the people I think are "The greatest"... But here's a few that have really made my time playing EL great. Hakri/DibClark/Master_Jarb/LadyNienna/MagicMan/Nelder - You LoLers(And previous LoLer, in the case of Dib.) are the greatest. You were always there when I needed help, and you made everyone LoL... I miss you all. Swordofflame - My first EL buddy. You're the greatest, Swordy! PoeTayToe - She was always there to help me when I needed her, even before she knew me. Lol Mufossa - I admit it, you were my hero when I was a newbie. Everyone had to be compared to you. "He's about half as strong as Mufossa!" MarthMan - A good friend and dedicated individual. If you were still active, you'd be #1 Manu by now. I know it! BrokenSpirit - The greatest EL player of all time, and the very best of friends. That's all I can stand for now. *Cries* Good ol' memories. P.S. There is definitely more, but this list is mainly people from the "old" days.

A while ago I posted this thread, trying to get EL to work on Vista. We've recently installed Ubuntu on the same system, and I'm a newbie to all types of Linux, so I have a couple questions. I downloaded the game and was able to get it running yesterday, but at only 3 FPS with poor man on and all quality options off. My guess is that it was trying to run without using the Graphics card.(SiS mirage integrated) I tried to point Ubuntu to the correct drivers, and it did a fatal crash and deleted everything on GDM or something. Today I reinstalled everything and now EL crashes after loading. (Sorry for so much info, but I was hoping I could find someone'd who'd know something about that at the same time. ) Question: The reason it gives for crashing this time is that it can't find servers.lst, but I made sure to get the correct data directory and everything... Question #2: The site mentions doing a chmod 775 to "install.sh", but there doesn't appear to be any file named that in the folder. What is that? Thank you for any and all help.

I tried that, and Ubuntu crashed. Now it won't start, but instead just loops the error "Too much work for IRQ16" forever. (Thankfully we didn't have any files on it that weren't saved else-where) Someone told me that it might mean the Video card is bad, which I wouldn't doubt since it didn't work on Vista right either... I just thought Vista's drivers were messed up. I think I'll just go and buy a PCI Graphics card... Thanks for the help, everyone.

Ok, I was able to get it up and running again, but it still only gets 2-3 FPS, and the CPU usage is 95-100%! Is this because it's not using the Graphics Card to render it? How do I get that to work? Thanks in advance for any help.

I was for a horrible 3-4 days... And just when I thought it was over, I'd hit a 35k MS lag spike or something. It's finally better though, I think. *Knocks on wood*

Ok, thank you... That's what I was doing to get it to work yesterday... But today I did the same thing and get a crash after loading. Maybe the mention of it should be removed from the site, so as not to confuse people like me. Edit: Needed to better clarify some things.

This looks pretty nice. I just have one question: Is/Will there be any way to check what is assigned to each "not-a-macro"? If you set a LOT, it'd be pretty hard to remember them all. Lol P.s. Hopefully it's ok that I posted here...

I live in upstate NY, and though there are things I dislike about it, I must say, the country around lake Seneca is beautiful, just beautiful. Small Text Error... The Grave in VotD reads: "In memory of Desdamona & the great battles she fo". Edit: Oh, I also noticed that (rarely) when I shoot, the arrow flies backwards/behind me. Other than that, all is working great. Another Edit: Right after I said "All is working great", I took a bow to KF to shoot Bunnies and two things started happening. I either 1) TURNED BACKWARDS to shoot, or 2) Had absolutely no character animation while shooting... I just stood there, able to move, and when I clicked, the Chim I shot either took damage or I missed. (There was no "line of fire" either) Both of these problems are new to this RC. A third Edit: More info on the Archery bug: Playing around with stuff, I noticed that at least the turning backwards to fire and shooting arrows behind me only happen when New selection is on... What appears to be happening is that I always shoot and turn towards the spot where the creature was the FIRST time I shot it, no matter where it is now.

Same. The new Bows/Arrows are awesome.

And for the roof in VotD... A great spot for shooting at Invasion creatures. Edit: That sounds good Schmurk.

Although I don't expect it will be done as much once Arrows cost, I love this idea! I really, really hope it gets in.

I have Game Maker, although I don't use it that much... I can't come up with any good ideas. Good luck on your games! They'll be really interesting to see/play, if you can complete them! (And if you'll share. )

Hey all. For some extra Algebra practice, I wrote this little EMU Efficiency Checker, which shows you how many trips you could be saving by getting 20(or whatever) more EMU. It's rather worthless, but hey, maybe it'll help someone decide if they should spend those two extra PP on random nexus or getting ONLY 20 more EMU.(Worthless, right?) I found out on a LARGE Iron job, I could save 10 hours of carry time by getting 20 more EMU. o.O (Somebody has too much free time on my hands.
