imho stats are tp be proud of and don't really matter in pk (correct me if i am wrong) On the other hand, attributes can make a big difference, even more now with the caps and ppl can build so diverse. I would go for 2 forms of privacy then, full privacy no stats no attributes privacy only stats no attributes this way you wont have to choose about what you want to be displayed and pk'ers still can hide teh way they are build.

Well tbh, if there is a bag it would be nice to announce you are going to take it, ask if you like but he, its there and obviously the one who put it there doesn't want the stuff. then about nrm. its a map for strong players, who train on feros and reading some posts in the past, often train on multiple critters, IMHO this map and specially the way it looks its some kind of bareland, a bit abandon even, why isn't this whole map w/o the city PK ? maps like thelinor are cool, a little stuff to get inside the city and leaf the rest to fighters, outlaws and pirates and the brave harvester who dares to be there. Again i read PK is dead.... f#ck of course it is, and if all those winers would go more often to maps where they could pk, well imho it wouldn't be. But NO we just complain and wait till NDD to pick on the PK-wannabees with 3-6 at once, ts down to a/d 40 to own dp arena etc and spoil all the fun for those ppl who wanna try pk and learn. You don't learn from dyeing in 2 hits and walk all the way back from Hell, you learn from doing, trying out weapons and armour and being fast to cast some one's diss. I think that arena's like DP should be TS-free so the real low lvl's could train there to pk without being scared away from that part of the game.

I didn't meant it to be personal, if you feel like that, sorry. But... when we all are bothered about few things.. Why are others always trying to tell what to do? I dont pk or it must be on a ndd, why? Because i am a n00b for that part of the game. I hoard stuff, why? because its mine, i worked hard for it or was just lucky enough to find it, but i hoard with a reason, I use it, and most of the time for my own use, and here's why, Because its not worth to make stuff for fighters, they don't even pay the cost of ings if i would buy them and flame if any manuer/mixer/potter try to make a little gc to buy new ings from lower lvl's so they dont have to spent hours making low lvl. stuf like fe etc. And now, i bought few rosto's and sold them again so the few i kept for myself are just ~16k and i can go safely train in on mobs i can when i use my CoL. And ques what I just checked rraisa and there are already bots selling Rosto's again.. So maby this whole topic did have a purpose maybe there will be more sparkly's on the market too so ppl wont have to keep them all in there storage for later use because of the big change there wont be any when they need them.

So ppl hoard them, same like sparkly's..... But if Entropy is right and ppl do, just read all he says, only half of daily used rosto's is found in game. So if you could plz. explain anyone why s/he should sell his stones, which they probably keep for later use, ( according to some they will all end up PK'ing on a sertain a/d) if they can be pretty sure that by the time they need them there wont be enough in game. I admit i had 13 rosto's at a time, and i still regret i sold some now i have none, just managed to buy a few for crazy prize, I admit i have a lot of EFE, EWE, and used to have a lot of ELE too, but ... all ELE are used (a CoL takes 6 !!) and the EWE will be used someday too same as EFE, therefor i don't sell them and i wont sell any stone either. I had more than 130 stones at a sertain time and once i started mixing (and failing) stuff they just slip out of your hands. So I suggest, just do as i do, train in cheap gear or hope your db wont be found by anyone else but you. about the PK... just like you (the pk'ers) always do on NDD, teamup and fight in pacts on easy victims who most likely wont have a rosto either. :edit: typo's

personally I dont know, I wasnt pking at that time.. *prepares to get flamed* IMO us pkers can hold our hands up to some of the blame.. we want new players to join pk and have fun, but what happens when a low level char enters pk in his aug gear ? we jump him !!! its not fun for him (and might put them off pk) and we get nothing out of it ( ooooooooh maybe some aug pants \o/) . Maybe its about time we took responsibility and said right " anyone with 80hp and aug gear we will leave alone" (just an example). lets let new players come in pk maps and pvp if they like and lets let them have a noob war if they like in kf without us killing them in one hit.. then maybe they will stick around in pk , get the taste for it, train like mad and come back to face the higher players. A side note to this .. maybe characters who give pk points should have a star beside there name .. ( the point being it would give a rough indication of level.. ) Thanks, you are the first pk'r who admits it sucks big time. I tried to explain before, but if i enter a pk map on ndd, in full steel etc. w/o some glowing sword, just to taste the fun every PK'er is so full of, I and lots of others too, get littery raped by at least 3 and often more fighters. love the idea, like that it randomly spawns in different maps. As it is said, the monster will have high attack (can we compare that with the birds ? ) But how high will it be? What i also would like, and maybe its a bad idea but I've wondered a long time already that we didn't have critters like this. We have Bob, make him like this dont have to be evil strong but let him get stronger while he kills ppl. And how about the nightly visits of the gargs in WS ?? Good idea to do it with them too ? About the man eater on C2. how strong will/can it grow ?

Have had several but : first iron broadsword was a modable \o/ Then on a day i lost 100kgc on manu (hate it when i don't read in enc any further than ings ) i went to bethel with tit. serpent, full iron, mirror cloak and a ton of essy's and managed to walk out alive after i got teamed by a Cyclops and a DC. I was like 65 or 70'ish AD then. The first CoL i made and as i was a noobie, i managed to go into kf and walk out with full inv of merc... had a hardbeat of 130+ then

A pure mage might not stand a chance toe to toe with a pure fighter and i dont think they were intended to. but at the moment players in pk with high magic level and the pp to spend in there build. can harm for over a 100 and mana drain for over 50 , a few mages like that on one pure fighter and fighter is dead i think you are right about that, but what i really meant is there is no balance in magic atm. it might be just a feeling but what about these high lvl fighters/mages when they md/ld/harm a mob whith some magic resistance. i think that ought to be tested and maybe there should be some adjustment. But i know the char i used isn't a strong mage yet, so i might be totally wrong about that, which i hope, if i'm not then maybe some adlustments can be made. but as said it should be tested with different kind of char builds before there can be some.

Some very good point Peino, and Conavar, that is a nice thought too, earn a PK-ndd. Some other thoughts to the mixing of monsters, i have had a nice time with the cyclops in WS. But i see ppl who are in PL trying to have fun too, But that is a multi fightmap. Mixing Gobs with chims is plain evil Why not let goblins mixed with orc invade Pl and clops and chims in WS? that way low lvl. fighters still stand a chance and the midlvl fighters wont have to be afraid to be teamed by some strong monsters. or if has to be put the clops mixed with chims in pl and goblins with orc and some trolls in WS. For the big ida invasion. lot has been said about it but what i have noticed is that as soon as a monster has even the slightest magic resistance its hard for a mage to do any damage. I'm training and alt to becaome a mage, its mag 45 and rat is at 18 now (was 17 during the invasion) there for it restores 175hp but could MD only 1 mana from the most of the giants and 1/5 or maybe even less gave 18 mana. Then i tried to LD some giants, 6 HP was max and often even 0 was drained. imho there is something wrong. If we want a mage class in this game there should be some adjustment imho. it doesn't look right in my eyes that one who can restore over 150hp can only ld so little. the last invasion before the caps and the new mag.formula's you could drain the giants for enough mana and when i try on large spiders i can drain tehm dry in one hit, so either mag resistance should be adjusted or the formulas should be adjusted a bit. As a mage not being able to do any damage doesn't promise anything good for the future imho. We will never be able to stand any change in a pk-fight and from what i understand that was the meaning of the new formula's. edit: typo

Ok not trying to be mean but what is your problem? you play a game and ur worried about losing ur precious armor? Pk is what makes games if you havent noticed on major games people dont pay just to make armor 99% of them pay to fight so they could be best. That involves fighting not being the best at being lazy and pushing the mix button. Btw if you look at ur siggy its quite amusing maybe you should go there because thats what ur doing You actually didn't get my point. I don't mind loosing/breaking stuff, I make new myself, I give sh#t about pk-points and i like a fight every now and then. but as soon as i start a fight or even when i got attacked by Toom who is way stronger some others just have to interfear. That is what i mean i know fighting in pk doesn't have to be fair, i play this game long enough to know. But i really cant see the fun in attacking some one who is already fighting a chanceless fight. I am not wining here, i just trying to have as much fun as others and maybe i should go to arena's but just the openfield is what i like and even fighting a group of ppl isn't really a big point but plz. let the really strong fighters stand aside then or let them have fun by helping the one that is allready under attack, Getting killed in 5 sec isn't my kind of fun and i let that happen 2 maybe 3 times and then I'm out, which means those who doesn't dare the give a fight even the slightest chance of being fun wont have fun anymore. Believe me I will i start mixing or go to some monsterspawn that i normally wouldn't dare to enter and start my own fight there, that way i get some xp and can test my char. i don't need a pk map for that.

Why? Why would i go into pk maps and get killed by 3-4 or even 5 ppl ? its no fun, sorry and it will nvr be fun too. Sure its NDD and i go there just to get kicked out even faster then i went in. Stats ? OK i only have 20/32 pc. i can stand some hits cause of the 16 vit. i am a/d 78/83, but does that matter ? No, sorry to say but only to go into kf just to restore till mana runs out is no fun. and i cant imagine its fun for anybody. OK there might be some fun if your a strong fighter and get ganged but for me fighting is only fun if it lasts a while, not when you fight someone and every one is jumping on you, or is PK about spoiling any fun and kill asap with as less chance to get a single hit? as soon as any one can explain to me what makes pk fun, Well i might even wast some rosto's on it. but for the time being I'll stick to mixing and making armour and stuff.

I never had this problem before, but i tried the new LD spell and found out either the NC-southcave phantoms and the PL phantom caused the same problem. I thought at first that it was sound realted cause the seem to hiss all the time, or at least i hear them to when i come near. checked it on both windows and linux w/ or w/o sound and both had same problem. Strange thing is, as long as there is no phantom near there is np. at all with lag. fps don't drop either and pings increase a little but no more then ~ 10ms
