Was a great invasion, well chosen maps, good mixture of mobs. You even managed to steal me a rosto (or is that what they call donating a brick ) anyway, this kind of invasion require to use some tactics and have fun for all i think. Thanks

Well tbh. I've tried helping newbie's but its frustrating, either they won't talk back, ask for free stuff or are afraid you are trying to scam them I don't know but it made me decide not to spent too much time anymore on IP. It should be fun to help newbie's but I've given up, sry.

What will be ? Breakable nmt ? Rofl that took you several years and many ppl where against and now ppl even ask for it? Like the idea tho its ridiculous that an item cant break, I hope you would also take into consideration to make the chance for nmt a little big higher

i think too many winers didn't give the hax a decent chance back then, didn't use it myself often cos i didn't see any use for it at that time. Voted 2x yes even tho i wont use it all the time imho the speed hax didn't get a decent chance

you'l need some "in between" mobs, after the chinstraps you could add a litle more phys and go sooner to orc's. then ogre and at def ~77 i upped to p/c 28/30 and did armed fem orcs and p/c 32/30 armed mails, as i got at def ~85 i move to lions on good days, my alt hardly trained on cyclops, they deal more crits then lions. tbh i was lucky i was midway the ogre lvl's as ts was taken out of game. but the lions and armed orc's are good to cover your "ts'ed" lvl's the p/c for armed orcs i have carefully tried but i would say try carefully adding pp's at those lvl's. Lions doesn't drop anything special but the bones and meat are a good source of income GL

voted somewhat important. i agree with those above that talk about the use of npc's in future quests, the game has lost a lot of the roleplaying espects as i gain my lvl's. I dont think quest always have to be like bring me this or bring me that to gain more xp etc. I like the idea about doing a quest to find special/new places or even be able to make sertain items only if you have done a quest. eg. you have todo some special quest (find places, items etc) to make magic swords or find special magical items to make enhanced potions and such would push ppl to do some quests too. With such quests and talking to npc's ppl learn more about the maps they visit and maybe even find places that can be of more use to them. A reward for doing some exploring quest could even be the ability to harvest items that are there and not harvestable if you didn't forfill it. combine it with the serving of sertain gods and maps can be used more and in a different way by different players.

\o/ great, i suck at quest, specialy when sertain ppl think they have to make some ebul riddles ,but this sounds very promising and fun.

Discussion on #6 when there was an invasion going on was about the knowledge of knowing what maps where declared clean and which not. So we came with the idea of some gathering of information which every one could check and then "know" if a map should be researched or not or even if a map was safe to explore/do your thing on if you cant participate in the invasion. So lets put it on the table, What if few, trustworthy ppl could tell a bot that a sertain map is declared clean. And the community could ask for that info. plz. no flames just constructive suggestions and ofcourse if we are pro or against such information and ofcourse if any bot would be allowed to gather such info.

I wouldn't think some info server side would be a good idea, that would spoil the game and the working together as a community. Neither should info be gathered in any automated way imho. The idea is covered very well in the discussion hawkfeather quoted. Give some players (pointed by the community) rights to give data to a bot and the bot will store it. If one of them gives wrong data, the community only have to tell the bot that they don't trust that player anymore and they wont have access anymore. its strange that ppl log of just because they don't get the info they ask for and don't wanna die because of that. With the info gathered by the effort of the community they wont log of again and can even be helpfull in an invasion, and it wouldn't come to the same ppl over and over again to clean up the mobs.

Its more about the fact that all the time ppl log in and start asking "what maps where metered" etc. There is a community bot called Trustbot check its purpose now and i am sure it can be used for the community to point some trustworthy ppl who can give input to it. Maps that are metered and declared clean can be listed and via a website or just a command ppl can see for themself what maps need to be checked or are safe again.

With 70/80 a/d , 32/30/12/24 p/c/w/v the fems are doable on bad astro days, with aug. armour, steel shield, iron helm and bone, +shield spell. on good astro even teh males are doable. Bad astro an iron sword is prefered for the males. xp/hr on single fem ~ 120-130k xp. Sofar i have been training the char following eMPi's guide till the ts got taken out and ogre's became way too easy. The extra p/c was really needed to move to the armed orc. On bad astro i use a moon med, with good astro just a uni.

Well i cant say i dislike the idea, i dislike places like NC too. but as a botowner i am glad with the place my bot is. Even due to some chances its less stratagic as it was before. What i would like more is bots more spread, or places more obvious. Some ppl have their bots buy/sell very specific stuff, like bones near a place with lots of skelletons. If they where moved to a market place it would hurt the botowner but also ppl who train and sell their bones so they dont have to keep walking to the storage. There are same kind of tradebots in caves aswell, i dont think it would be fair to their owners. for now i'l see what other opinions there will be before i vote

I could be called a hoarder, i have 25+ serpent, bindings, enrichment stones, but as ppl know i also make items they are used for. Atm i am lacking some nexus (wanna "buy" them with hydro) so am not able to use the stones. If they wheren't as rare as they have been sofar i wouldn't collect them. but selling now and having trouble to buy them when i need them made me keep them. Its to me the same as when ppl have tons of gc. they aint forced to share to others too.

What keeps me here... ? I came across this game about 2.5/3yr ago as i was looking for some free games to install for a cousin i build a pc for... I checked it out and started playing, not knowing anything about this type of games. It was the first and only i ever played. after a week or 2 i was going to harvest quartz or coal i dunno anymore but i got hit by a cavern wall and died instantly, some strange coloured msg on my screen with my name, come to the beam i have your stuff, it was 1 pickaxe and my leather top. This was just such an experience, and that behavior i have encountered so often after that. So first of all the community simply rocks The game... well i cant compare but i simply like it, atm i even have several chars and all build in a different way and still ain't stuck with either of them to the skill they are trained in every way you build a char it can be usefull to the community or just to have fun with (Where is Lenny Hiding ) the developers.... as been said before, they listen, bitch at you as if they are real ppl. the same way you bitch at them, and then again listen to you once you can explain why your idea is simply good. but then again, there aint a particular reason i get stucked, there are simply too many i think

My name is as close to my RL name as posible, but this beeing my first MMORPG and with being an elf, Walt_Her got the meaning Forest_Master in English.

I did the .elm files before already but now its defenatly faster. I had to take out the BMP files tho, if i compressed them i got a broken screen with all kind of coloured bars, names of players (& monsters) where only a white bar etc. compressing the " .elm .e3d .2d0 .caf " files is a bit slower but atleast doesn't break the client.

You are so kind to protect him from any mistake in the future......

SuSE 10.3 installed libpng3 and and using the duron executable (athlon 3000+) all seems to work can also use my sound card with other programs
