  1. The LION Guild are bag jumpers

    You are correct. However, LION has never been honorable. When I was playing they serped spawns, milked the NRM white tiger spawn with guildies ferrying skins between storage and the spawn while holding the spawn, gathering all the DCs in Bethel then trying to keep other people out. Same thing with Feros. There were many other instances and Oz was, and sounds like still is, one of the worst. The community started to tolerate this behaviour. It is one of the MAJOR reasons I dont like playing EL, LION guild and their rude dishonorable copy cats. LION is one of the most important reasons the EL community has degraded. 4
  2. Your opinion on Desert Pines arena

    I was assuming that if you make DPA a no drop arena, you also make it unlimited levels. In that case, I think it would be good. You could balance the no drop with say a higher break rate, a fee to get in that players could win, a reduced XPs, or some other idea. But it would make me PK more, because I would not have to find a rosto for PK to keep from loosing 500K + of items. 4

    Out of curiosity, if you carry two rosto stones, will you lose only 1 so you can use the second one in case you get mined leaving the underworld?

    I would like to see a creature that is more attack weighted that is more attack weighted in terms of experience, say a 100/115 a/d? with a trainable p/c, maybe around 40/50 ish/. This could be the sasquatch
  5. New Break Rate

    I think Bob's pretty much got it right here. I train fluffies with aug pants, steel chain, steel shield, leather boots, and leather helm. I train DCs about the same way, sometimes with a bone or tit short, depending on Astrology. The only real break rate difference I have seen is in the tit shorts, degraded 4 in 2 DC sessions. To me, that says when Astrology is bad, I probably shouldn't be fighting DCs. In general, the adjusted break rate seems to be working out for me because I have seen a lot less competition from tit fluffers and tit DC fighters

    I think we should keep posting about outlaws, every time they do it. I find it entertaining to see their responses, I mean what colour is the sky in their world? Also, I really want to be on Annihilation's PK list, it will make my day. Then if he will meet me in Imbro..... well, doubtful but I can wish

    However, I can say the same thing about summons. The summoner is 'attacking' from a safe place, but deserves the bag by normal EL protocol. I think as long as the archer is working 1 spawn, the XPs and bags from that spawn should belong to the archer. Anyone who does not respect that protocol is an spawn jumper or bag jumper, or both. Archery is expensive and time consuming, and the practitioners deserve the fruits of their labor.

    Spawn serping is spawn serping. If some one is working a spawn with a bow and you attack the spawn, you are spawn serping. Same as if you are working a spawn using magic, summons, other weapons, or bare hands. If some kills a spawn with a bow, and you take the bag, you are a bag jumper, same as if you took it from some one who is using summons, magic, etc. 4

    I have a Dell Latitude D610. You cannot update the drivers beyond 7/05. However, renaming the shaders directory worked for me. 4

    Ok, I have an ATI Radeon mobility X300 graphics card. It is on a Dell 610 laptop. I have updated the drivers, which brings me to July 2005. Dell does not have newer drivers, and the ATI drivers do not work on Dell machines. EL dies while opening the open GL stuff. I have poor man and all the other configurations like reflections and what not set to 0. I copied the ini, etc. Basically, this looks like it puts me out of EL. 1.6 does not work, and there are no video drivers from Dell that support the new openGL stuff. Are there any last remaining fixes that I can try? 4

    When I am loading 1.6 on my laptop, it crashes with a dialog box to send info to bill gates. The laptop is about 2.5 years old, and has a built in intel card.
